    MUMBAI: Talk about a reality check! Rise and Fall, Amazon MX Player’s latest digital blockbuster, has done everything but fall. The show has stormed into the record books as the most-watched series ever on the platform, amassing over half a billion views and holding its ground in India’s top OTT reality charts for six straight weeks.

    Produced by Banijay Asia, Rise and Fall threw 15 familiar faces including Pawan Singh, Dhanashree Verma, Kubbra Sait, and Kiku Sharda into a 42-day showdown of power, ambition, and strategy. Hosted by Ashneer Grover, the series saw audiences cast more than 11 million votes before crowning Arjun Bijlani as the ultimate winner.

    But the show’s real victory played out online, sparking over 10 billion social media views and a flood of memes, reactions, and fan edits.     Zee TV kicked off the festivities by hosting a star-studded nomination party which saw everyone’s favourite Zee TV faces take to the red carpet in their most glamorous and stylish attires, captivating everyone present. Popular stars like Shabir Ahluwalia, Sriti Jha, Shraddha Arya, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Arjun Bijlani, Arjit Taneja, Neeharika Roy, Nikki Sharma, Paras Kalnawat, Sana Sayyad, Baseer Ali, Shakti Anand, Rohit Suchanti, Aishwarya Khare, Maera Mishra, Krishna Kaul, Abrar Qazi, Rachi Sharma, Avinesh Rekhi, Tanisha Mehta, Manasi Joshi Roy, Navika Kotia, Karanvir Sharma, Aditi Sharma, Richa Rathore, Yesha Rughani, Seerat Kapoor made heads turn at the Zee Rishtey Awards’ Nomination Party.  

    The stars of Zee Kutumb looked stunning on the red carpet with their stylish and glamorous outfits. While the heartthrob Dheeraj Dhoopar stole everyone’s heart in his black studded suit, popular actor Shabir Ahluwalia walked the red carpet in a quirky combination- Blue Jodhpuri paired with sneakers. Renowned actor Avinesh Rekhi looked handsome in a black suit, and Tanisha Mehta looked gorgeous in an all-green Indian ensemble. Manasi Joshi Roy and Navika Kotia also stole the show with their beautiful and elegant looks. Shraddha Arya wowed everyone with her lovely pink saree, and Nikki Sharma looked elegant in her sea green lehenga. The handsome boys of television, Arjun Bijlani and Arjit Taneja looked dapper in suits. Paras Kalnawat also looked dashing with his co-actors Sana Sayyad and Baseer Ali.  Amongst the beautiful ladies, Sriti Jha made heads turn in a red evening gown. Popular Jodi Rohit Suchanti and Aishwarya Khare also graced the red carpet in an all-black and royal blue ensemble respectively.

    The Zee Kutumb, then, gathered to witness some wonderful acts. They even indulged in some fun games and engaged in some light-hearted banter during the Nomination Party.     Mumbai: MTV continues to up the ante with tentpole original content for its viewers, solidifying its position as the leader in youth-centric entertainment.

    MTV Splitsvilla X4 is set to present a unique blend of modern dating and classic romance, where true love is earned.

    Co-powered by Wildstone Deos & Perfumes and ONN…Total Comfort, the show will premiere on MTV and Voot on 12 November and air every Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m.

    MUMBAI: Balaji Telefilms has readied a visual treat for viewers with its new show – Naagin, which is slated to go on air on Colors from 1 November.

     

    The soap factory has upped its production value for this show with focus on elements like characterisation, scripting and visual appeal. The new mystical thriller is a dramatically obsessive love story of reincarnation. Naagin will be a finite weekend fiction series, which will be telecast every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm.

     

    Set against the backdrop of Rajasthan, Naagin is loaded with outstanding VFX effects offering an authentic film-like experience. The musical score of the show will add to the viewing experience as Colors recreates the timeless magic of the song Tere Sang Pyaar Main Nahi Todna through a new-age adaptation.

     

    Commenting on the show’s format, Balaji Telefilms joint managing director and creative director Ekta Kapoor said, “At Balaji, we have always believed in experimenting with different concepts while bringing in some variety for our viewers.     The aesthetically narrated saga, Naagin delves into the life of a suave and ambitious business tycoon, Ritik Raheja (Arjun Bijlani) who believed that love and religion are distractions as they make you weak. But his beliefs are challenged when he comes face-to-face with Shivanya (Mouni Roy). While Ritik is enamoured by her simplicity, Shivanya is stuck between two extreme emotions – love and vengeance. Shivanya’s friend, Sesa (Adaa Khan) is her support system, but she has an ulterior motive that no one knows about. The constant conflict between love and revenge drive these protagonists together as their lives clash in a coming together of their past histories.

    MUMBAI: After launching Twinkle Beauty Parlour recently, Sab will now be launching a new show Left Right Left -an action packed youth based drama – on 10 July. The show will be aired from Monday-Thursday at 9.30 pm.

    Set in contemporary India, Left Right Left is the story of six youngsters Huda, Naina, Yudi, Alekh, Ali and Pooja who come together at the pre NDA Academy with varied interests, dreams, aspirations and goals. They transform from being naive to responsible young men and women who are determined to fight all odds of life.

    The show captures the journey of six confused and disoriented youngsters who transform as strong determined individuals. It also renders their realisation for the love of their mother country along the way.

    Produced and directed by Tony and Deeya Singh (of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi), Left Right Left stars Rajeev Khandelwal (Captain Rajveer), Shveta Salve (Dr. Ritu Mishra) and Puneet Issar (Brigadier Chandok) along with Vikas Manaktala (Huda), Arjun Bijlani (Alekh), Kunal Kapoor (Yudi), Harshad Chopra (Ali), Ghazal Rai (Pooja) and Priyanka Bassi (Naina).
