    Mumbai: American watch brand Esprit is all set to strengthen its position in India and has appointed Bollywood actor Ananya Pandey as its celebrity brand ambassador.

    Esprit’s India partner AP Group looks to pursue an aggressive expansion plan for Esprit watches in India and the brand is eyeing to regain the market share in the watch category.

    Announcing the association, the company said that the actor’s youthful persona, confident outlook, and positive vibes resonate completely with the brand and made her an obvious choice.

    Founder & CEO of Time Management Services (TMS), the official licensee of Esprit Watches, Marco Sieber said, “Since 1968 Esprit as a brand has come a long way.     Mumbai: Crypto asset exchange ZebPay has brought Geetika Mehta on board as its chief human resources officer (CHRO). Mehta will take the lead on designing and implementing the people strategy, culture transformation, talent management initiatives, and building ZebPay into an organisation for the future, the company said.

    ZebPay has tripled its headcount in the past year and is planning to hire more engineers to continue scaling up and building industry-first products.  

    In her last role, Mehta was the chief people officer at Jubilant Industries and has held leadership roles in OYO, Urban Ladder, and Puma prior to that. With a career spanning 15 years across consumer goods, retail, and e-commerce, Mehta possesses rich and progressive HR leadership experience from both premier multinational companies and start-ups. She is passionate about the start-up ecosystem in India and has worked extensively with business leaders in scaling up organisations at various stages of evolution.

    Twin Health expands into India, onboards Prabh Singh as CEO

    Mumbai: Twin Health has announced the appointment of Prabh Singh as the CEO for its India operations. The health tech firm had recently raised $155 million series C funding to scale its presence in India and the United States.

    Singh is currently associated with Disney+ Hotstar as EVP and head of subscriptions and he will take over his new position at Twin Health in January 2022.

    At Twin Health, Singh will head the India operations for strategy, marketing, regulatory, public policy, go-to-market, product, and technology divisions. He will be responsible for scaling the health company in India as the country has the second-highest number of lifestyle-related diseases in the world after China, said the statement.

    Prabh Simran Singh moves on from Disney+ Hotstar

    Mumbai: Only Much Louder (OML) has appointed Zoya D’Costa as campaign lead in the GCN (Global Creator Network) India team, as per her LinkedIn update.

    In this new role, D’Costa will be leading the mandate of driving 360-degree marketing and content efforts globally to deliver impactful campaigns for Bacardi 1862, along with other brand accounts and clientele like Netflix, Bumble, Amazon, Zomato, Cred etc within GCN.

    Mumbai: iProspect, the digital-first end-to-end media agency from the house of dentsu India, has appointed Nitin Sabharwal as managing partner, North. He will also lead the agency’s affiliate marketing function, nationally.

    As per the mandate, Sabharwal will be responsible for client relationship management, business operations and new channel development. He will report into Vinod Thadani, CEO iProspect India & digital growth officer India, dentsu Media.

    In his new role, Sabharwal will bring on board a vast depth of knowledge and real-world experiences, which will be further combined with data-driven insights from across industry implementations, said the company.

    Armed with 25 years of experience, Sabharwal has worked with some of the first digital marketing ecosystems in India, especially in the performance marketing space. Digital customer acquisition is one of his key specialisations, using 360-degree digital demand generation. Additionally, Sabharwal has been instrumental in developing full-funnel digital marketing ecosystems for some of the largest advertisers in the performance space.

Some of the other companies that Sabharwal has worked with include DGM India, IndiaHomes.com and MediaTurf.
