    Mumbai: Gunjan Nagpal has joined Rhiti Sports as chief business officer, according to his latest LinkedIn update.

    Nagpal has over 18 years of experience across media, digital and banking. He specialises in new business development, directing cross-functional teams, managing 360-degree events and festivals, developing new products and brand integration.

    Nagpal was previously associated with Pen Music as vice president- of revenue for the broadcast business since February 2020. He was associated with OTT platform Zee5 as head of agency business. He has also had stints at PVR Limited, Sony Pictures Networks India, Times Network and Reliance Broadcast Network Limited. He started his career at Citibank.

    IN10 Media Network elevates Samar Khan as CEO of Juggernaut Productions

    Mumbai: IN10 Media Network has elevated Samar Khan as the CEO of its production house, Juggernaut Productions. Khan will continue to report to the network’s managing director Aditya Pittie.  

    Khan has been associated with the production house’s OTT division since 2019 and has played a vital role in steering it. As CEO, he will continue to manage his responsibilities of designing and successfully implementing business strategies in addition to creating world-class content.

    “Samar is a valuable asset and I congratulate him on his well-deserved promotion. As we embark on an aggressive growth plan for our content studios business, we rely on his expertise to bolster them while staying true to our core vision,” said Pittie. “The entertainment industry is going through an exciting transition and we want to leverage the momentum.”

    Under Khan, Juggernaut Productions has created popular shows and movies like The Married Woman, Code M season 1, Illegal season 2, “Raat Baaki Hai”, and many more for some of the leading OTT platforms in the country. The upcoming shows are Code M season 2 and Avrodh season 2. He has also produced Regiment Diaries seasons 1, 2, and 3 for the network’s flagship channel EPIC.

    “I have been in the industry for more than 25 years and I’m blessed to be part of its evolution. I’m happy to drive the network’s OTT division’s growth story,” said Juggernaut Productions CEO Samar Khan.

    Khan has a rich experience in writing, directing and producing high-quality and value-creating content for films, television, and OTT. In the past, he has been associated with companies like NDTV, Red Chillies Entertainment, UTV, and Discovery India among others.

    In 2016, he wrote a book ‘SRK – 25 years of a Life’ capturing the 25-years-long journey of the actor Shah Rukh Khan.

    MUMBAI: Edtech major Byju’s has onboarded Jiten Mahendra as the new vice president & head marketing. Before joining the edtech company, Mahendra was with retail and hospitality conglomerate, Landmark Group for over 12 years, where he drove the sales for “MAX” Fashion as senior vice president marketing,  he shared the news of his appointment on LinkedIn.

    Earlier, sharing the development of his moving on from The Landmark Group, Mahendra said, “My 12 year long innings with #landmarkgroup group and #maxfashion comes to an end.”

    “I can sum up this whole journey in two words “Passion” and “Perseverance” can make anything happen,” he further wrote, concluding with, “End of your journey is the beginning of the new one”.

    Previously, Mahendra has been associated with brands such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Kansai Nerolac Paints, Zydus Cadila and Unilever, among others.

    Jha is a creative director with over two decades of experience leading diverse creative teams with a track record of delivering quality design while managing multiple projects. His expertise is in brand building, broadcast design, virtual, hard-set design and in-depth technical knowledge with a strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools as well as software. 

    Before joining Viacom18, Jha was associated with Star Sports for nine years where he led the design team responsible for cutting-edge design and innovations for marquee events such as IPL, Cricket World Cup, Pro Kabaddi League, Badminton League, Hockey India League to name a few. He also worked at CNBC TV18 for almost a decade and led the graphics team.

    Dixit joined Balaji Telefilms in September 2018 and has been leading its OTT platform Altbalaji’s direct subscription growth and marketing for its originals. She was previously associated with Zee5 as vice president of marketing and direct revenue.

    Dixit has two decades of experience in the media industry with stints at Star TV Network, Saregama India, UTV, Sony Entertainment Television and Percept.

    MUMBAI: 22feet Tribal Worldwide has announced the appointment of Vishnu Srivatsav as national creative director. Prior to this, he was the creative head of DDB Mudra’s South office. Srivatsav will take over from Debashish Ghosh, the former NCD at 22feet Tribal Worldwide, and will continue to report to DDB Mudra Group chief creative officer Rahul Mathew.

    Since his appointment at DDB Mudra in 2015, Srivatsav has led some of the Group’s award-winning campaigns. Under his leadership, DDB Mudra’s South office produced work such as Puma’s Suede Gully and Battlegrounds Mobile India’s Game Responsibly. These campaigns earned recognition at Cannes Lions 2018 and a Grand Prix at Spikes Asia 2022.

    Speaking on Srivatsav’s role elevation, Rahul Mathew said, “Vishnu has been a great partner to the organisation in our pursuit of creative excellence.     Mumbai: Auto-tech company CarDekho Group has appointed Parthasarathy Vankipuram Srinivas as an independent director. The appointment is in line with the company’s objective of strengthening its board and overall corporate governance within the CarDekho Group. The company is gearing up for its IPO (Initial Public Offering) in the next 12-14 months.

    A seasoned business leader with 36+ years of experience in globally reputed organisations across a wide range of sectors, Parthasarathy has worked with the Mahindra Group in leadership positions for over two decades and with Xerox for 14 years. He currently serves as the non-executive non-independent vice-chairman of Allcargo Logistics, an Independent Director of recently listed Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), Imperial Auto Industries, IAI Industries, Greencell Mobility, and serves as Director of Rudi Multi Trading Company, Kids Clinic India (Cloudnine) and ECU Worldwide.

    Mumbai: Bala Iyengar has joined Enterr10 Television Network as chief strategy officer for their Hindi general entertainment channel Dangal TV. He announced the same on LinkedIn.

    Iyengar was previously the chief operating officer at Helios Media, a speciality services company for the broadcast sector. He was associated with the company for over a decade. He has had stints at Zoom Entertainment Network, MTV India, Star India and Sony Entertainment Television.

    Iyengar has been in the TV broadcast industry for over two decades.
