    Bipin R Pandit’s Khumaar Musical Nite returns on 4 November

    Mumbai: Khumaar the famous and much-awaited Musical Nite organised by Bipin R Pandit for the past 18 years in succession (barring the covid period) is all set to happen on Saturday, 4 November 2023 at St. Andrews Auditorium Bandra.

    This year Khumaar will be presented in a new avtaar as songs that will be rendered will be from the year 1990 onwards. Thus, you will have popular numbers of Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Shaan, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Paudwal. There will be a special Sufi segment as well.

    Khumaar founder and owner Bipin R Pandit stated, “As an organizer and performer it is a great feeling that my show for all 18 years has been houseful two to three weeks ahead of the event date at times even one month before. I am extremely happy that most of the industry Stalwarts from the Media, Advertising and Marketing world have confirmed their presence.

    It has always been my endeavor to scout and select talent meticulously over a period of one year from all over India. Thus, what you get to see on the event day is the very best available. Besides the established stars, I am getting one singer from Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Malegaon Nashik.

    This show will be in celebration of my completion of 25 years with the Advertising Club and 18 years of Khumaar. It will not be inappropriate to state that this is the perfect launch for the festive season of Diwali that follows. There is a musical Dhamaka in the offering.”

    Mumbai: Shemaroo Bhakti, the devotional-focused vertical from the house of Shemaro, has unveiled a new collection of devotional songs on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. The fresh compilation has renowned singers Shankar Mahadevan, Anuradha Paudwal, and Samar Singh lending their voices.

    The Mahashivaratri collection includes ‘Shiv Tandav’ by Shankar Mahadevan, ‘Shiv Gatha’ – a compilation of short stories on Lord Shiva – sung by Anuradha Paudwal, and a new bhajan ‘Hum Hai Deewane Mahakal Ke’ rendered in Hindi by Bhojpuri folk singer and actor Samar Singh.

    Colors develops live event property ‘Suron Ke Rang’

    MUMBAI: Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) Colors from the Viacom 18 stable has created a musical property focusing on developing a string of live music events called Suron Ke Rang catering to its music-loving viewers. The first concert will celebrate the illustrious life and the works of the man behind the establishment and the solid standing of T-Series in the Indian film industry today – Gulshan Kumar. 

    This first-of-its-kind association with Bollywood music giant will bring together over 40 musical stalwarts, 60 popular and unique compositions across three decades to launch the Suron Ke Rang – Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar tribute concert.

    With names like AR Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, Anuradha Paudwal, Mika Singh, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Himesh Reshammiya, Shaan, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Abhijeet, Anup Jalota, Sapna Mukherjee, composers like Pritam Chakarborty, Raju Singh along with new age sensations like Tulsi Kumar, Mithoon, Benny Dayal, Ankit Tiwari, Meet Bros, Akriti Kakkar, Amaal and Armaan Malik and DJ Chetas will all come together for a soulful and visually appealing musical evening while paying homage to Gulshan Kumar. Singer Sonu Nigam and actor Ayushmann Khurrana will be the hosts for the evening. Conceptualised and produced by Kickstart Entertainment, this musical extravaganza will be held in Mumbai on 22 September and will be aired on Colors later this year.

    MUMBAI: The Marathi music industry is fast evolving with significant leaps in talent and technical expertise. Especially over the last 5 years, we have witnessed a marked difference in the Marathi Music space, with the emergence of outstanding work.

    GSEAMS and Art And Artistes presented the first Indian Music Academy Marathi Music Awards, which was held on the 26th of October 2013 in a star-studded event at Mumbai. The Indian Music Academy (IMA), a CSR initiative of Art And Artistes (I) Pvt. Ltd., is the 1st body of musicians in India. Founder Patron Sangeet Martand Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj along with 12 other patrons laid down the guiding principles and key objectives of the IMA, and it was launched by the then President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in 2006. It has since then worked towards promoting all genres of Indian Music and musicians and also, relentlessly towards the welfare of the musicians. 

    Art And Artistes, since the last 14 years has emerged to be the only Multi Media Music Company of India, producing world class IPs including Jalsa, Tiranga, Panchtatva, Indian Music Academy Awards, Golden Voice Golden Years, Jai Hind, and many others.
