    MUMBAI : Somany Ceramics has unveiled its latest Tamil TV commercial, starring popular on-screen duo Gomathi Priya and Vetri Vasanth from Siragadikka Aasai. The light-hearted ad blends humour with home transformation, reinforcing the brand’s presence in Tamil Nadu by tapping into local charm and star appeal.

    The TVC presents a playful take on home renovation, with Meena (Gomathi Priya) guiding Muthu (Vetri Vasanth) as a ‘divine mentor’ towards a hassle-free, stylish upgrade using Somany’s range of tiles and bathware. The duo explore the coverstone range of tiles and the French collection bathware, showcasing how effortlessly homes can be transformed with Somany’s elegant and durable solutions.

    Usha International appoints Anshuman Chakravarty as VP, marketing

    Mumbai: Usha International has appointed Anshuman Chakravarty as vice president – marketing. He will report to executive chairman Krishna Shriram and will handle the operations from Gurugram.

    Chakravarty is a brand management and marketing communications practitioner with experience in working in India and international markets (Asia & Europe), with exposure in B2C & B2B domains. He is armed with over 23 years of experience in strategising and executing brand launches, re-positioning strategies, media planning and buying, internal and external communication, social & digital marketing, PR & reputation management, and crisis communication.

    An MBA in marketing & post-graduate in journalism and mass communication, Chakravarty started his career at Sahara Group as manager of brand and corporate communications. 

    He later joined DS Group, where he served as associate head of corporate communications and post that, he worked with Jindal Stainless and Kaefer as head of corporate communications.

    In his most recent role, he was associated with electrical equipment manufacturer Orient Electric as head of brand and corporate communications for over seven years.

    MUMBAI: Orient Electric, part of the USD 1.8 billion CK Birla group, launched an integrated advertising campaign to promote Aeroslim, “India’s first smart ceiling fan”. Aeroslim fan is IoT-enabled and can be controlled via Orient Smart mobile app or by using voice commands via Alexa or Google Assistant. It is also the India’s first Inverter fan that ensures 40 per cent energy savings in comparison to ordinary fans.

    The new TVC features Orient's long-standing brand ambassador MS Dhoni. As per the brand, it follows the theme of turning your world upside down with the Aeroslim fan which flaunts a unique slim cylindrical design, aerodynamic blades, telescopic adjustable mounting, integrated underlight, and PU paint with superior hydrographic finish and unique power saving inverter technology.

    Talking about the newly launched TVC, Orient Electric Ltd head brand and corporate communication Anshuman Chakravarty said, “Aeroslim is world’s slimmest smart fan loaded with umpteen features and Inverter technology for saving energy.     MUMBAI: Orient Electric, a part of the USD 1.6-billion CK Birla group, has launched an integrated advertising campaign with its long-standing brand ambassador MS Dhoni for its range of LED Battens.

    The campaign features a TV ad that shows Dhoni being playfully picked on by his niece for not putting an end to the misery of flickering tube light and upgrading to Orient LED Batten which comes with ‘No Choke, No Starter and No Flicker’, and ensures better lighting with significant cost savings.

    Orient Electric is spearheading this campaign to create awareness and trigger replacement of age-old conventional tube lights with LED Battens. The TV ad will be strongly flanked by print and radio advertisement and active engagement through digital touch points.
