    MUMBAI: Havas Media India which has added a slew of wins to the kitty in 2013 has strengthened its ‘digital’ segment with two key senior appointments.

    In tune with the group’s integrated structure, Havas Media India’s full services digital portfolio includes digital media planning and buying, display advertising, digital direct response, search engine marketing, SEO, pay-per-click, social media, as well as ‘Mobext’ for mobile solutions and performance marketing using data and analytics.

    To establish itself further in India, the company has appointed Sumit Kumar as General Manager; while S.V. Sunilkumar has joined as Business Head Digital-Mumbai, whose key responsibility will be to service the existing digital clientele in Mumbai as well as new business development.

    Speaking on the appointments, Havas Media Group, India & South Asia CEO Anita Nayyar said, “Digital is a focal point for us and these appointments will further consolidate our attempt to offer the latest digital services to our clients. Clients worked with include – Tata DOCOMO, Vodafone, Sony Entertainment, Disney, OLX, Viacom 18, Tencent, AOL, Cleartip , Hungama, Nazara, Opera and Times Group. 

    Sunilkumar with 18 years of media experience was working with Infosys as a Principal Consultant and a part of the core product development team at BrandEdge (the global cloud based digital marketing platform). Also, as digital media head at DDB Mudra, he has serviced clients including LIC, Star TV, McDonalds, IDBI Bank, India First Life Insurance, etc.

    MUMBAI: Havas Media India has won the media mandate of Halonix Technologies.

    Commenting on the win, Havas Media Group, India and South Asia CEO Anita Nayyar said, “It has been a good year at Havas, we have acquired a portfolio of new and interesting businesses and plan to close the quarter on the good note we began. Halonix is a company clearly on the growth path and we are happy to take them on course.”

    MUMBAI: Havas Media Group India has made some senior management appointments in keeping with its growth pace and new business acquisitions since the beginning of 2013.

    In the light of the recently acquired LG business, the Havas Media Arena team has been strengthened with two key appointments. Love Guglani joins as vice president and Saurabh Bhatnagar joins as group account director-Digital. Their main mandate is to manage the LG business in keeping with the philosophy of being Digital at the core.

    Besides this, Havas Media Delhi has appointed Roopali Sharma as vice president, to manage key clients like MTS which are on their growth phase.

    Commenting on the appointments Havas Media Group India and south Asia CEO Anita Nayyar said, “Our growth strategy needs the right people. All three have had illustrious careers and collectively bring in huge wealth of knowledge and experience.”

    Bloomberg TV India boomerangs back to Havas Media India

    MUMBAI: The Bloomberg TV India media account has bounced back to Havas Media. The business news channel has decided to part ways with Aegis Media’s Vizeum India which has handling its media spends for a while and go back to Havas. Bloomberg TV India’s estimated media spend about Rs 7 crore per annum, and the win means that another blue-chip brand – this time in the media space – has been added to its client roster.

    Says Bloomberg TV India President Sriram Kilambi: “Bloomberg TV India is all about catering to the elite key decision makers. Havas has demonstrated expertise in using media innovatively and we look forward to a great new relationship.”

    MUMBAI: Havas Media has bagged the media duties for matrimonial portal Shaadi.com, following a multi-agency pitch. The account will be serviced out of agency‘s Mumbai office.

  • All About Outdoor partners Havas Media to launch Outdoor Media Plan

    MUMBAI: Introducing the country‘s first outdoor media knowledge repository, All About Outdoor has teamed up with Havas Media to launch Outdoor Media Plan. The official launch of the entity is slated on 1 July.

    The initiative is an online knowledge bank of trade insights, which will showcase tailor made ready-to-use reports, helping meet the objectives of brand custodians, media planners and buyers and media asset owners, who often struggle with sourcing dependable information while planning their outdoor media campaigns.

    It will collate and process inputs on customised research gathered from nationwide knowledge partners, bringing in credible extracts on category spends, brand-wise-investment, supplier database, innovations, media-price benchmarking, latest campaigns and emerging technologies.

    MUMBAI: Online job portal CareerBuilder India appointed Havas Media as its digital AoR after conducting a two month long multi agency pitch.

  • Havas Media bags media duties of Amway India’s beauty vertical

    MUMBAI: Amway India, a wholly owned subsidiary of $11.3 billion Amway Corporation, has awarded the media duties of its beauty vertical to Havas Media. The agency will handle media planning and buying duties of Amway‘s beauty range of products.

    The direct selling FMCG company, which offers 131 products in five categories of Personal Care, Home Care, Nutrition & Wellness, Cosmetics and great value products, had earmarked Rs. 530 million towards advertising in 2012.

    Amway India CMO Naveen Anand said, “Amway today is a well known brand in India and our range is getting even more extensive to cater to a higher range of customer needs. So far we were focussed on building our Mother brand “Amway” and health & nutrition brand “Nutrilite”.
