    Mumbai : This Children’s Day, &pictures takes audiences on a thrilling journey by bringing the Hindi television premiere of the critically acclaimed film, The Mitchells Vs The Machines to all on 14 November  at 11a.m.

    The animated comedy film is here to tickle your funny bone and take you on a joyous adventure, having been nominated for best-animated feature at the 94th Academy Awards and having swept the best-animated feature at the 49th Annie Awards.

    The Mitchells Vs The Machines is an animated comedy film that tells the story of Katie Mitchell, a young sweet girl who goes on a road trip with her proud parents, younger brother, and her beloved dog. Their plans to bond and spend time together as a family are thwarted when all of the world’s electronic devices come to life and stage an uprising.

    With machines taking over the world and causing unrest, the Mitchells emerge as humanity’s last hope for saving the planet. Finding themselves helpless in the face of robots and machines, the quirky and relatable Mitchells stick together and prepare to fight the robots.     Dandelooo grabs worldwide distribution rights for ‘Our Piggy’

    Mumbai: Emmy Award-winning French animation production and distribution company Dandelooo has struck a deal with the Emmy Award-winning Czech film and television production company Bionaut for the new adorable comedy series Our Piggy.

    The deal gives Dandelooo exclusive worldwide distribution rights to the 2D animated series targeted at 2–4-year-olds produced by Bionaut, the producers of the highly successful Hungry Bear Tales series.

    Created and based on the book by Jaromir Plachy, nominated for the Golden Pinwheel, Young Illustrators Competition Award 2021, Our Piggy discovers the magic of ordinary objects and invites children into his extraordinary world through inquisitiveness and play.

    Commenting on the deal, Dandelooo co-founder Emmanuèle Pétry Sirvin said, “This new series is based on the director’s observation of his own child, which explains the charm of this delightful character. I fell in love immediately with this series, which illustrates the well-known quote ‘keep it simple.’ Bionaut is one of the most talented studios in Central Europe and we are proud to distribute their programmes internationally.”

    Dandelooo is a French award-winning creative company based in Paris dedicated to the development, production, and distribution of original and ambitious animated programs. It runs its own studio, Ooolala, in la Cartoucherie (Valence, France) and has a sales office in Barcelona, Spain, and Milan, Italy.

    Netflix & Bioware announce a new animated series ‘Dragon Age: Absolution’

    MUMBAI: OTT platform Netflix and the video game company BioWare have announced a new animated series Dragon Age: Absolution. It will debut on Netflix this December. 

    Created in collaboration with BioWare (creators of the Dragon Age video game franchise), Dragon Age: Absolution is set in Tevinter.

    It will feature new characters inspired by Dragon Age lore, including elves, mages, knights, Qunari, Red Templars, demons and other special surprises. Additional details will be announced in due course.

    MUMBAI: Comedy Central is taking one of its showcases and streaming it free across multiple platforms. The “Roast of James Franco” will be accessible via CC.com, mobile platforms and an Xbox app.

    A red carpet pre-show will also be available. The network is hoping to drum up considerable social media activity with the sharing of video clips and animated GIFs on its Web site, as well as on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Vine and Tumblr.

    The roast debuts Monday at 10:00 p.m. For a re-air later that night, Comedy Central is trying a “social version” with real-time tweets and Facebook posts on-screen.

    Among the social media activity the network has used to drum up interest in the special is allowing “super users” to take control of Comedy Central’s Vine account.

    Franco’s real-life grandmother will be co-hosting the “#FrancoRoast Red Carpet Pre-Show.” Grandma Mitzie Verne will interview celebrities on a couch. The 15-minute red carpet show will be produced by Comedy Central’s in-house digital studio.

    Seth Rogen serves as the roast master with Jonah Hill and Andy Samberg among those taking a turn at the mike.
