    MUMBAI: Zee Telugu is tuning up for a melodious ride as it launches the 17th season of its iconic singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, this time in the Li’l Champs avatar. The musical journey begins on 30 August at 9 pm, with fresh young talent ready to steal hearts every Saturday night.

    Fronting the show is the ever-charismatic Sudheer, whose quick wit and charm promise to keep the energy buzzing. Guiding the contestants is a star-studded panel: singer SP Shailaja, director Anil Ravipudi, lyricist Ananth Sriram, and actor Niharika Konidela each bringing their own flair for music, cinema and storytelling. Together, they’ll mentor the budding singers while keeping audiences hooked with insights and banter.

    The line-up of contestants is as vibrant as the stage itself. Advith turned heads with a spirited take on Chaaruseela, complete with a comical American accent, while Kruthi charmed with a soothing rendition of Kokilamma. Nithyasree electrified the crowd with Magallu Vatti Maayagalle, and Aliya Fathima from Kerala proved that music knows no language barrier with her soulful Sirimalle Poova. Meanwhile, Adharv amped up the festive vibe with Dhandalayya, and Lakshmi Chowdary wowed with her jaw-dropping dual voice modulation. A surprise highlight came when singer Sameera Bharadwaj and her daughter took the stage for a playful mom-daughter duet of Kathalenno Chepparu, blending melody with comedy.

    MUMBAI: Zee5, has set new benchmarks with the phenomenal success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. Since its digital debut on 1 March, the film has amassed over 360 million streaming minutes, marking the most successful launch ever on Zee5. Its television premiere on Zee Telugu was equally groundbreaking, achieving a staggering 18.1 TVR (SD+HD), the highest World Television Premiere (WTP) rating in India in the last 2.5 years.

    The film is also the only one in the past 2.5 years to exceed 10 million AMAs (Average Minute Audience), recording an impressive 11.1 million AMAs. This exceptional performance highlights the growing appetite for high-quality entertainment on both digital and TV platforms.

    Originally released in cinemas to widespread acclaim, the Venkatesh Daggubati-starrer enthralled audiences with its vibrant festive setting and engaging storyline, grossing over Rs 300 crore worldwide. Its OTT debut on Zee5 shattered previous platform records, surpassing 100 million streaming minutes within just 12 hours.

    Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film follows Damodara Raju (Daggubati), a former deputy commissioner of police, as he is approached by his ex-girlfriend and assistant commissioner Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary) for help in solving a high-profile kidnapping case. The victim, Satya Akella, a CEO of a multinational conglomerate, vanishes under mysterious circumstances. Adding a comedic element to the intense investigation, Damodara Raju’s wife, Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh), insists on joining the mission to keep a close watch on her husband and his former flame. The film seamlessly blends action and humour, making it an instant favourite among viewers.

Set to kick off this summer, the campaign will feature the magical duo of Mahesh Babu and Rajendra Prasad in a series of ads set to launch across different festival seasons throughout the year. The new ad campaign has been directed by none other than Anil Ravipudi of F2 and Sarileru Neekevvaru fame. The ad highlights the last-minute booking that AbhiBus offers to millions of travelers across India. Whether it’s a short trip or a long journey, AbhiBus remains the preferred choice for hassle-free bus bookings.

    The ads will be launched across TV and digital platforms. The first TVC, released today, features a lively banter between a playful uncle and his nephew. The advertisement starts with Babai (Rajendra Prasad) preparing for his exam; Abhi (Mahesh Babu) enters the room and asks what he is doing. Babai responds that he has promised Kanakam that he will top the exam. Abhi, seeing nothing he can do and not wanting to engage further, tries to leave. Babai then asks Abhi to go for a trip to Tirupati, thus leading to a comical turn of events that results in the duo embarking on a last-minute bus journey to Tirupathi, showcasing the fast and seamless booking process of AbhiBus.

    The idea was to design a campaign matching AbhiBus’ energetic and vibrant brand image. The brand decided to team up with Rajendra Prasad and Mahesh Babu, as the dynamic duo are known for their on-screen chemistry and comedic timing. With a focus on incorporating humor and relatability, the ads will feature funny interactions and playful banter between the two actors.
