    MUMBAI: Aegis Media’s OOH company, Posterscope, has completed three years in India.


    To celebrate, Posterscope has planned India’s first celebration party on a billboard in Worli, below the Aegis Media office, to highlight the impact and largeness of the OOH medium. The event will be webcast live on Facebook.


    To commemorate its third anniversary, Posterscope hired the 60ft high hoarding in the office complex and took the party there.


    Aegis Media chairman India and CEO South East Asia Ashish Bhasin said, “Posterscope India is a jewel in the Aegis Media India’s crown and Haresh Nayak and his Team have proven that there is a great demand for a professional and knowledge led OOH operation in India.”


    Posterscope is present across 25 cities in the country with a team of 92 people.

    MUMBAI: Aegis Media India is bringing all its subsidiary companies under one roof. The first integrated media office will house Aegis Media, Carat Media, Posterscope, Vizeum, Isobar, Brandscope and Carat Fresh Integrated & Hyperspace.

    The initiative, being first of its kind in India, will enable clients to get media planning & buying, OOH, full service digital facilities including creative, SEM, SEO, social media, retail, visual merchandising and activation services will come under the single umbrella office.
     
    Aegis Media chairman India & CEO South Asia Ashish Bhasin said, “This is a landmark move for us and I predict it will be a trendsetter in the industry. Our unique country level P & L allows us to be able to offer everything to our clients, without worrying about silos but retaining the advantages of specialization.     The office incorporates the latest in technology. It is designed by the interior specialist Shashikala Chander.

    The new Aegis Media office is strategically located on the top floor of Poonam Chambers ‘B‘ in Worli.

    Carat to handle media duties of ABC Consultants

    MUMBAI: Carat Media has won the media planning and buying duties of recruitment services brand ABC Consultants.

    ABC will conduct an identity revival exercise and plans to execute a high voltage mass media campaign through Carat by investing close to Rs 100 million. The company aims to further strengthen its brand recall in the premier executive search and selection business.

    Carat would be providing solutions for ABC Consultants through all its Aegis media partner agencies — Isobar, Posterscope, Carat Fresh and iProspect.

    The campaign that is expected to break soon will be a combination of both ATL and BTL activities. The company is looking at print and online activities, along with direct B2B communication with clients, while the electronic medium, too, might be taken forward.

    ABC Consultants CEO Shiv Agrawal said, “We are undergoing a major strategic renewal. In a growth-oriented scenario, we want to be the mind leader as far as quality manpower recruitment is concerned. We are delighted to have Carat Media as our partner in this endeavour of ours.”

    Isobar wins digital duties for Tata Housing’s brands

    MUMBAI: Aegis Media Group‘s digital marketing outfit, Isobar India, has won the digital duties for real estate developers, Tata Housing‘s La Montana and New Haven.

    Isobar has been roped in to develop and execute the brands‘ display and social media strategies. This follows Tata Housing‘s campaign for its premium housing range on the traditional media.

    Says Isobar country head Shamsuddin Jasani Isobar, ” This win and the confidence bestowed by TATA housing on Isobar is the result of some outstanding work, both across display media buying as well as social media, that we have done. Any agency would be proud to be associated with the TATA name and so are we.”

    Added Tata Housing head marketing services Rajeeb Dash, “We are happy to partner with Isobar for our social media activities. Through social media, we would like to communicate the project differentiators to our consumers. Real Estate being an unorganised sector, this initiative will be first of its kind and at the same time there are lots of other opportunities to be explored.”

    Since its inception two years ago, Isobar has bagged over 35 brands, including Reebok, Adidas, Philips, UTI MF, Tourism Australia and Perfetti.

    Vizeum wins media duties of TI Cycles

    MUMBAI: TI Cycles of India, a part of $3.2 billion Murugappa group, has assigned its media duties to Aegis Media‘s Vizeum India.

    Industry sources peg the value of the business at Rs 200 million.

    The business was earlier handled by Mindshare.

    Said TI Cycles & BSA Motors GM Marketing Rajesh Mani, “The professional approach exhibited by Vizeum, coupled with their ability to think beyond traditional solutions, comparative saving on our overall cost as well their involvement in our business at all levels convinced us of this partnership. We look forward to working with them.”

    Vizeum will handle the account out of its Chennai office under the leadership of E M Sreeneelakandhan, GM, South.

    Averred Vizeum managing director Indian sub-continent S Yesudas, “We are proud of the work we have done on BSA Motors and are thankful to the TI cycle Management and Marketing Team for their faith in us. We will ensure TI cycles will get added to the list of our client ambassadors.”

    TI Cycles are the makers of brands like Hercules and BSA.

    Aegis Media to launch second OOH agency Brandscope on 1 December

    MUMBAI: After the successful launch of Posterscope in India, Aegis Media Group will launch its second OOH agency, Brandscope, on 1 December.

    The agency, which will function from Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore, will start operations with five clients – Indiabulls, Fin Air, Arcil, JK Paper and Kewal Kiran – under its belt.

    Said Aegis Media and Posterscope Director – APAC chairman India and CEO South East Asia Ashish Bhasin, “Brandscope will be in a unique proposition that puts the brand at the heart of an OOH solution, using the world‘s latest tools and a global knowledge bank. Haresh Nayak, MD Posterscope, will be the domain expert on OOH for both our OOH businesses in India. This is an advanced and a new concept in the field of OOH and I am sure Brandscope will revolutionise the role of OOH in brand communications in India.”

    Brandscope will use the expertise of the group‘s offerings such as Hyperspace and the groups proprietary PRISM suite of tools that have been developed over time in order to provide cutting edge solutions to the clients.
