    ‘Land of Goals’ the new mobile game that mixes football with adventure

    Mumbai:  LALIGA Entertainment, the publisher and developer behind presents ‘Land of Goals’. In this new video game, players have the opportunity to face their favourite LALIGA players and even team up with them, immersing themselves in a virtual world full of challenges and magic.

    This game is characterised by a series of features that set it apart from the multitude of football video games available. It includes a career mode where users have to train and test their skills with the ball. Either going head to head (1v1) against the LALIGA stars or controlling a team of three (3v3) where the user, with their avatar, will be joined by two LALIGA stars to complete their winning team.

    The new video game, ‘Land of Goals’, combines the passion of football with a challenging adventure experience based on the worlds at PortAventura World. In addition to being able to challenge and team up with several LALIGA stars, the game is characterised by a series of features that make it stand out from the multitude of mobile football video games available. It features a career mode at launch where users have to complete the various levels available.

    In Career Mode, players begin an exciting adventure through different maps based on the various worlds at PortAventura World, each with its own unique challenges. Progressing through the game involves unlocking and clearing each map in order, while facing increasingly difficult tasks.

    Additionally, users will be able to equip themselves and improve their skills, choosing from the jerseys of their favourite LALIGA club to the most original customisable items that will make the football experience completely innovative. Users will want to get their hands on all the different items available – the team behind the video game have stated. Furthermore, they add that all the customisable items are inspired by the fantasy of PortAventura World to make the experience even more incredible. There won’t just be LALIGA and PortAventura World content available, but much more to help transport users to new dimensions of playing football.

    So far, Land of Goals had been released on Google Play and the App Store in Argentina, Denmark, Mexico and Sweden, which were selected as key markets for the softlaunch due to their unique characteristics.

    LALIGA Entertainment indicated that the softlaunch in these markets has been key to improving the product in preparation for the much-anticipated full launch.

    National Geographic India brings new adventurous series – ‘Snakes SOS: Goa’s Wildest’

    Mumbai: National Geographic in India has announced its new adventure series – ‘Snakes SOS: Goa’s Wildest’ which is all set to premiere on 10 January.

    Keeping with the channel’s philosophy, the latest series focuses on the rescue efforts of two Indian wildlife activists – Benhail Antao and Louise Remedios. The two are luxurious wedding planners by profession, but wildlife rescuers by passion, and the show will follow their exciting lives, taking the viewers on an immersive journey through the city of Goa.  The 10-part series promises to show the duo in action and give an up-close and personal experience of their techniques and contributions in rescuing the varied snake species and other undomesticated animals through the city of Goa. The series also focuses on informing and enhancing the knowledge of viewers on the rich and diverse wildlife present in Goa the city and breaking the myths and misconceptions that people have come to believe about snakes in particular.

    “At National Geographic in India, we believe in showcasing purpose-driven narratives to help deepen engagement and drive meaningful conversations among our viewers. With adventure and entertainment as a backdrop, we wanted to bring a local narrative of two very inspiring individuals and challenge the myths and pre-established beliefs around snakes and reptiles. We hope that our efforts inspire viewers to care about the magnificent wildlife we have in our country and encourage them to play their part in preserving and protecting it,” said Star and Disney head of entertainment Kevin Vaz.

Every day presents us with a new adventure and we have truly been enjoying the process of rescuing snakes; sometimes in the most unexpected circumstances. But more importantly, we have managed to rescue people from the perceptions they carry about these beautiful creatures. We hope that our stories inspire more people to change their attitude towards snakes by highlighting and showcasing how important they are to our ecosystem,” 

    ‘Snakes SOS: Goa’s Wildest’ will premiere on National Geographic Channel in India at 8.00 pm on 10 January. The episodes will be aired every Monday and Tuesday and will be available across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Kannada.

    MUMBAI: Land Rover announced a unique opportunity for its fans and enthusiasts to feature in an adventure film alongside their favourite sports personalities, Yuvraj Singh and Narain Karthikeyan. For this Land Rover has launched the READY TO DISCOVER Contest, in which fans and enthusiasts simply have to express what adventure means to them.

    MUMBAI: Sony Max will be premiering Bahubali – the heroic tale of two brothers, on 25 October at 8 pm in Hindi.

    It may be recalled that the Malayalam version of the movie was premiered earlier this month on Mazhavil Manorama.

    Directed by S S Rajamouli, the film tells the tale of adventure, romance, love, betrayal, valour and weakness. The cast of the film includes Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamanaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty. The film rides high on Herculean war sequences.

    DDB Mudra Mumbai and Adventure 18 urge Corporate India to step Outdoors

    MUMBAI: Corporate India is overworked and exhausted. While the rest of the world works 50 to 60 hours a week, corporate India clocks in 80 hours. Their lives revolve around their desks, and their time away from work is the time they spend playing solitaire or browsing the internet.

    DDB Mudra Mumbai and Adventure 18 saw this as an opportunity to urge corporate India to get away from their dreary workstations and step out and have an adventure. Apart from this, the other challenge faced by the team was execute the campaign in a cost-effective way.

    The team used a surprisingly overlooked, yet effective medium of communication – Window Washers, to do the job.

    Window Washers, dressed up in adventure gear, were sent down office buildings located across the city of Mumbai. In a sight worth a watch, mountaineers, rock climbers and para gliders descended on to buildings across the city.

    The result was overwhelming. There were a few who were scared, some were amused, but everyone took note of the men in adventure gear. And when the window washers had the attention of the office they revealed their message: “Don’t you wish you were outdoors?” The message continued to give the website address of Adventure 18.

    Speaking on this activity, Louella Rebello, Executive Creative Director, DDB Mudra Mumbai, said, “Sometimes you are at work, you look out of the window and wish you could be in the great outdoors instead. We decided to actually put a guy out there telling you to do just that. Adventure 18 was a great partner in making this happen.'”

    MUMBAI: Tangerine Global, a global player in high-definition television (HDTV) programming for the five-star hospitality marketplace, has been selected by luxury group The Peninsula Hotels to provide the media company’s premier HDTV entertainment services to its hotels.
