    CM Devendra Fadnavis confirms implementation of NEP’s three-language formula in Maharashtra at ‘Mumbai Tak Baithak’

    MUMBAI: Mumbai Tak, the digital news platform from the India Today Group, successfully hosted its premier event, ‘Mumbai Tak Baithak’, yesterday in Mumbai. The event served as a dynamic platform for dialogue on Maharashtra’s political, social, and developmental landscape, bringing together an influential array of leaders, thinkers, and first-time legislators.

    Delivering a significant policy update, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that the three-language formula outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) will be implemented across the state. During his keynote interaction, Fadnavis also hinted at potential BJP strategies for upcoming municipal elections, stating that while the party may form alliances for the BMC elections, it may also contest independently in other municipal corporations.

    The event featured a distinguished line-up of participants including deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde, senior leaders Balasaheb Thorat, Chhagan Bhujbal, Aditya Thackeray, and Bala Nandgaonkar, as well as a new generation of public representatives such as Sneha Dubey, Babasaheb Deshmukh, and Sana Malik. Further enriching the discussions, Padma Shri awardee and social activist Girish Prabhune, and renowned economist and public intellectual Dr. Narendra Jadhav, and the special public prosecutor, who has also been nominated as the member of Parliament by the President of India, Ujjwal Nikam shared their insights on governance, equity, and regional development.

    Mumbai: After the launch of its thought leadership series ‘Town Hall’ in Delhi, CNN-News18 has announced to host its second edition in Mumbai on 10 September.

    The Mumbai edition will witness conversations with policymakers such as Maharashtra deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on “75 Years of Independence: How has the governance paradigm changed in the last 8 years?,” Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray on “Mumbai as a World-Class City: Rhetoric or Reality?” and Indian film actor Kartik Aaryan on “Is it time for Bollywood to reinvent itself?”

    Town Hall Mumbai chapter will look at the country’s most pressing challenges in the political, economic, and social space and discuss the future of the entertainment industry, with CNN-News18 managing editor Zakka Jacob and other top anchors of the channel leading the conversation.

    Mumbai: TV9 Marathi is all set to host the inaugural Maha-Infra Conclave on 22 February. The conclave will highlight the key role infrastructure plays in aiding economic growth, while also addressing the state of infrastructure in Maharashtra and how it can drive growth for the region, ultimately helping in nation building.

    The event will be inaugurated by Maharashtra minister for urban development & public works (public undertaking) Eknath Shinde. Along with him, Subhash Desai (minister for industries & mining, Maharashtra), and Aditya Thackeray (minister for tourism & environment, Maharashtra) will also address the event and share their vision on how infrastructure development projects will fuel growth for the industry and tourism sector in the state.

    The policy push for mega infrastructure projects has opened several opportunities for the state. The conclave will provide a platform that will bring key policy makers and private sector leaders to draw an actionable agenda while articulating the positive impact these infra-development projects will have on the people of Maharashtra.
