    McCain StarChef season two to air exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar India

    Mumbai: Prepare for the ultimate cooking showdown as McCain’s StarChef Season 2 is coming on Disney+ Hotstar! After a successful premiere on GOODTiMES, the show will now stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar, airing on the platform from 15 May 2024.

    Building on the success of the inaugural season, Season 2 boasted an expanded format with five thrilling episodes. Four episodes were dedicated to the diverse culinary landscapes of each region in India. This season also featured a wildcard entry.  The panel of judges for McCain StarChef Season 2 is a stellar line-up of culinary luminaries. Leading the charge in the grand finale was the renowned chef Manish Mehrotra, while the regional episodes were graced by the discerning palates of Anahita Dhondy and Aditya Bal.

    Taking the digital world by storm across platforms, McCain has also launched an interactive Augmented Reality or AR Filter on Instagram for this launch. While consumers take part in the heat of the sharp competition by using this filter, McCain is also engaging students, or soon-to-be chefs – by placing a QR Code across hotel management institutes across India. Students will be led to the AR filter post filling a detailed form via this code, which will help scout for the next up and coming StarChef!     IN10 Media Network’s flagship channel, Epic has announced the launch of its legacy show, “Lost Recipes”. The third season of the show will air on 28 April 2022 at 9:00 pm on Epic and Epic on.

    The renowned chef & author, Aditya Bal will host the show which dwells on the traditional recipes that are lost in time.

    Taking forward the legacy of previous seasons, the show’s anchor will once again travel far & beyond in search of recipes like Kesari Mutton, Lahori Katlama, Supari Ka Madra and other things that have got lost somewhere.

    EPIC Channel’s ‘Lost Recipes S2’ gets release date

    MUMBAI: EPIC Channel – India Ka Apna Infotainment is renowned for creating premium, genre-defining, India-centric content. The channel is all set to air the second season of one such show – ‘Lost Recipes’, hosted by celebrity chef Aditya Bal, that explored India’s diversity through the history and culture of food.  The show will return to EPIC TV from July 24, 2019 and air every Wednesday at 8:30:00 PM and 10 PM with repeat telecast on Thursdays at 2:30 PM.

    In Lost Recipes, the renowned chef and author travels around the country in search of recipes and food preparations that have been forgotten over time, while exploring the history and culture of the region, and what makes those dishes special and identifiable to them. The show also uncovers fascinating stories about origins of the ingredients, bygone practices, and culinary traditions. Some recipes covered in Season 1 of the show are Pudim la Letri from Mumbai, Monsu Josyoung from Gangtok, and Kabishambardhana Barfi from Kolkata along with several others from Kutch, Hyderabad, Coorg, Srinagar, Bhopal, Puducherry, Lucknow, Goa & Delhi.

    In the second season, host Aditya Bal is back on the quest and through conversations with locals and experts, he finds paths to the past, and to recipes that have are being omitted from cookbooks, and have lost their place of pride in kitchens, both humble and royal.

    Straight from the traditional kitchens that have stood the test of time, the 10-episode season will explore delectable dishes like Dum Ke Aandey from Hampi, the once grand kingdom of Vijaynagar , Jhoda Besara from Odisha, Kodi Mamsapu Motikallu from Andhra Pradesh, Suksi Pudga and Pan Roti from Chhattisgarh, and Ukkad Amba from  Maharashtra, and dishes from North India.
