    MUMBAI: Adidas India has announced its collaboration with Saiyami Kher. A rising name in Bollywood and widely known for her involvement in sport & fitness, Saiyami joins a host of world-class athletes in representing the three stripes.

    Adidas Running business unit head Sunil Gupta, said, “An athlete at heart, Saiyami embodies the Adidas brand in every sense. She brings authenticity and motivation to every young woman & genuinely believes that empowerment must begin with one’s self. We believe that this message is the single-most important take away for the young women who look up to her and wish to kick-start their own journey to fitness and betterment through Running.”

    Adidas India and Saiyami are all set to kick-off this relationship with a global launch in San-Francisco, USA, later this week.

    Adidas joins Reliance Foundation Youth Sports to take football to campus

    NEW DELHI: German sportswear giant Adidas and Reliance Foundation Youth Sports to hold School and College Football competitions starting from 27 August 2016.

    The two have signed multi-year deal for this purpose. In the first year, the competition will be played in eight cities in Guwahati, Kochi, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and Goa, featuring over 2000 teams and 40,000 youths playing football.

    The RFYS Football competitions will be held across four categories – Junior, Senior and College boys and Senior Girls.

    Aimed at creating a unified structure for school and college competitions across sports, Reliance wants to encourage a multi-discipline sports culture among schools and colleges and provide young athletes an integrated growth platform.

    As the performance partner with RFYS, adidas will provide the official match balls for the programme and will also be the kit partner to all the City Champions qualifying for the National Finals.

A crucial link that was missing was the existence of a unified School and College competition that would give young athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills against the best in India. The fully integrated marketing campaign, releasing today on International Women’s Day, aims to inspire women.     The pan-India campaign centres on a TV commercial that will unveil Ranaut’s inspiring life story through the lens of fitness.     MUMBAI: Dentsu Webchutney, the full-service digital agency from Dentsu Aegis Network, has announced the promotion of TanviJain to senior vice president and branch head in Delhi. Prior to this, Jain was vice president at Dentsu Digital.

    As part of her new mandate, Jain will be responsible for acquiring new clients apart from taking the lead in servicing the existing clients. She will also be responsible for revenue growth from the region and will continue to report to m Dentsu Webchutney, chief executive officer and co-founder Sidharth Rao .
