    HUL top advertiser; Maaza most advertised brand in week 8: Barc

    Mumbai:  With ad volumes of 4557.7 (against last week’s 4940.43), FMCG firm Hindustan Unilever was the top advertiser in the eight week of 2022 (19 to 25 February), according to Barc data. It was followed by Reckitt Benckiser at 2917.61.

    All set to ride the upcoming summer wave and the next IPL season, Beverage company Coca Cola India delivered ad volumes of 1184.0 to emerge as the third most prolific advertiser in the eight week.

    Godrej Group, Cadbury’s India, Pepsi Foods (G), Procter & Gamble, Colgate Palmolive India, ITC and GSK Group of Companies followed, in that order.

    The brands list signalled the arrival of summer with three beverage brands, all belonging to the Coca Cola Company. While the mango-based drink Maaza was at No. one with ad volumes of 427.85, Thums Up (263.38) and Coca Cola (257.3) were at number six and eight. All of them were new entrants in this week.

    Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean (407.9) and Mortein Insta (new entrant with 293.64) occupied the second and third slots.

    They were followed by Amazon.in and Ultratech Cement at the fourth and fifth spots. Colgate Vedshakti debuted at the seventh rank. Moov Strong Diclofenac Gel and Sabse Pehle Life Insurance, a new entrant again, grabbed the last two positions

    HUL becomes biggest advertiser in week 7: Barc

    Mumbai: With ad volumes of 4940.43 (against last week’s 5080.24), FMCG firm Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) was once again the top advertiser in the seventh week of 2022 (12 to 18 February), according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) data. It was followed by Reckitt Benckiser and Cadbury India at 3626.47 and 922.97.

    Procter & Gamble, Godrej Group, Amazon Online India, ITC, Tata Group, Colgate Palmolive and Marico followed, in that order.

    Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean was the most advertised brand with ad volumes of 491.96 (704.34 in week 6). Amazon India was second with 393.59. It was followed by Ultratech Cement (318.51).

     

    Dettol Foaming Handwash, Dettol Toilet Soaps, Dettol Antiseptic Liquid occupied the next three slots. They were followed by Moov Strong Diclofenac Gel, Rummycircle.com, Harpic Bathroom Cleaner and Strepsils Orange (new entrant).

    Mumbai: With ad volumes of 5080.24 FMCG firm Hindustan Unilever (HUL) was once again the top advertiser in week 6 (5 to 11 February), according to Barc data. It was followed by other FMCG majors Reckitt Benckiser and Procter & Gamble at 3939.77 and 1168.74.

    Godrej Group, Cadbury’s India, Tata Group, Marico, ITC, GSK and Amazon Online India followed, in that order.

    Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean was the most advertised brand with ad volumes of 704.34. Harpic Bathroom Cleaner (342.66) and Ultratech Cement (325.52) were at number two and three. Last week’s top performer Rummycircle.com dropped to fourth position.

    The rest of the slots were occupied by Dettol Antiseptic Liquid, Policybazaar.com, Dettol Toilet Soaps, Dettol Foaming Handwash, Mesho App, and Clinic Plus Shampoo.

    HUL most prolific advertiser in week 5: Barc data

    Mumbai: With ad volumes of 5635.09 (‘000s) FMCG giant Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) was the top advertiser in the fifth week of 2022 (29 January to 4 February) according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) data. Reckitt Benckiser grabbed the second position at 2359.58.

    Procter & Gamble replaced Tata Group at the third slot with ad volumes of 888.46. Tata Group fell to the sixth position with 600.08 (‘000s).

    Cadburys India and Godrej Group were at fourth and fifth positions. LIC India, Marico, TVS (G), and Coca-Cola India were placed in the last four spots.

    The brands list was more balanced this week with the slots being equally distributed between FMCG and other categories.

    At number one was a digital brand, Rummycircle.com with ad volumes of 388.0. Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean was second (376.23), while Clinic Plus Shampoo finished third at 246.61.

    Horlicks, LIC Corporate and Thums Up were at the next three positions. Tata Play, which was last week’s most advertised brand, was at the seventh spot. TVS Jupiter 125, Meesho App and Dettol Antiseptic Liquid grabbed the last three spots.

    HUL top advertiser, Tata Play most advertised brand in week 4: Barc

    Mumbai: With ad volumes of 4940.62 (‘000s) FMCG giant Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) was the top advertiser in the fourth week of 2022 (22 to 28 January), according to Barc’s weekly data. Reckitt Benckiser was second at 3449.43.

    While Cadbury’s India, ITC, Godrej Group, Procter & Gamble, LIC India, GSK, and Colgate Palmolive were at number four to ten, the highlight of fourth week was Tata Group making a direct entry at number three with ad volumes of 1188.69.

    The company has launched an advertising blitz to promote the new identity and rebranding of its content distribution business Tata Sky (a joint venture between Tata Sons and TFCF Corp) as Tata Play.

    The high-decibel, celeb-heavy campaign has also catapulted Tata Play to the top spot in the most advertised brands list this week with ad volumes of 672.02.

    Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean (477.26) slipped to the second position, while Republic Day Greetings (397.85) was the new entrant at the third position.

    Dettol Antiseptic Liquid, Vanish Oxi Action, Ultratech Cement, Lizol, Harpic Bathroom Cleaner, Horlicks, and LIC-Coprorate grabbed the rest of the spots.

    Mumbai: Hindustan Lever Ltd (HUL) was the most prolific advertiser once again in week 48 (27 November to 3 December) according to the data released Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc). The FMCG major delivered ad volumes of 4347.97 (‘000s). Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd was at number two with 2537.84. At 1125.73, Ponds India stood in the third position.

    Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd, Cadbury’s India Ltd, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, Procter & Gamble, and Colgate Palmolive India Ltd were in the fourth to eighth positions respectively. Facebook Inc was the new entrant at the ninth spot. Life Insurance Corp of India stood last.

    Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean continued to lead the brands’ list with ad volumes of 461.72. Horlicks, Clinic Plus Shampoo, and Dettol Antiseptic Liquid were at number two to four, respectively. Amazon Prime Video at the fifth spot was the only exception in the FMCG-dominated list.

    They were followed by CloseUp Ever Fresh, Brooke Bond Bru Instant, Lizol, Surf Excel Easy Wash, and Pepsodent Germi Check.

    Mumbai: FMCG major Hindustan Lever Ltd (HUL) dominated the top-10 advertiser list in week 47 (20 to 26 November) according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) data. Recorded ad volumes for the company stood at 4516.65 (‘000s). Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd was second at 3426.36 (‘000s). Ponds India maintained its hold at the third spot with ad volumes of 1006.19.

    Cadbury’s India Ltd, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd, Lakme Lever Ltd, Colgate Palmolive India Ltd, GCMMF, and Ultratech Cement followed.

    Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean led the brands list with ad volumes of 438.99. Ultratech Cement and Horlicks were at the second and third positions, respectively.

    Lizol, Veet Men Hair Removal Cream, Amazon Prime Video, Dettol Antiseptic Liquid, Dettol Toilet Soaps, Fanta and Clinic Plus Shampoo grabbed the remaining slots.

    Mumbai: FMCG firms beginning with Hindustan Lever Ltd dominated the top-10 advertiser list in week 46 (13 to 19 November) according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) data. Recorded ad volumes for the company stood at 4486.09 (‘000s). Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd was second at 3462.72 (‘000s).

    Ponds India which usually languished at one of the last five spots was at number three in week 46. Entering into the winter season, the beauty and personal care firm stepped up the game to deliver ad volumes of 1020.95 (‘000s).

    Cadbury’s India Ltd, Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, Colgate Palmolive India Ltd, Procter & Gamble, Coca Cola India Ltd, and Lakme Lever Ltd followed, in that order.

    Other than Horlicks at the top spot (397.9), the brands list looked very different with Veet Men Hair Removal Cream, Lizol, Ultratech Cement, and Fanta (new entrant) at the second to fifth positions. Ultratech Cement debuted last week at number eight.

    Long-time leader Dettol Toilet Sopas slipped to the sixth slot, Dettol Antiseptic Liquid was eighth, and Dettol Foaming Handwash at tenth. At number seven and nine were Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean and Clinic Plus Shampoo, respectively.

    Mumbai: With ad volumes of 5074.45 (‘000s), Hindustan Lever Ltd (HUL) was the most prolific advertiser in week 44 (30 October to 5 November) according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) data. Reckitt Benckiser grabbed the second spot at 1480.15.

    At the third to ninth positions were Ponds India, Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, Procter & Gamble, Amazon Online India Pvt Ltd, Cadbury India Ltd, and Colgate Palmolive India Ltd. Lakme Lever Ltd was the new entrant at the tenth spot with ad volumes of 416.15 (‘000s).

    Horlicks was the most advertised brand in week 44 with ad volumes of 443.06 (‘000s). At 319.42 Clinic Plus Shampoo was second. It was followed by Brooke Bond Bru Instant (260.48) at the third position.

    Amazon Prime Video, Lalithaa Jewellery, Amazon India, Surf Excel Easy Wash, Close Up Ever Fresh (new) Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Moisture Body Lotion (new), and Boost followed.

    Mumbai: With ad volumes of 4600.63 Hindustan Lever Ltd (HUL) was the top advertiser in week 43 (23 – 29 October) according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) data. Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd (3121.31) and Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (900.75) were in the second and third positions, respectively.

    They were followed by Ponds India, Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd, ITC Ltd, Cadbury’s India Ltd, Amazon Online India Pvt Ltd, Coca-Cola India Ltd, and Colgate Palmolive India Ltd.

    Among the brands, HUL’s Horlicks was the top performer delivering ad volumes of 473.75 (‘000s). Dettol Toilet Soaps, Lalithaa Jewellery, and Veet Men Hair Removal Cream grabbed the next three slots.

    Fanta was the new entrant at the number five. It was followed by Harpic Bathroom Cleaner, Amazon Prime Video, and Clinic Plus Shampoo.

    Debuting at number nine, was Tata’s new SUV Tata Punch. Dettol Antiseptic Liquid finished last.
