The campaign which kicked off from the 15th of September and culminated on 9th Nov achieved the Guinness World Records™ for registering as the longest journey by a car in a single country. The campaign was supported by all-encompassing on-ground activities and on-air promotions across 30 Stations of the 92.7 BIG FM network, connecting with Honda fans and dealers to create a buzz about their power campaign.

    The brief received from the Client saw the Solutions and the Sales Team at 92.7 BIG FM come together to explore options that would deliver effective results for the campaign. Ensuring out of the box thinking and excellence in execution, the team put together a national plan with elements that ensures maximum buzz and talk-ability around the innovative campaign.

     

    From here-on there was no stopping this partnership and 92.7 BIG FM went all out from inviting dealers into the studio to interact with the RJ’s, RJ’s hosting live shows from across Honda showrooms interacting with customers through interesting games and other interactions and also collecting feedback.

    The ‘Honda Amaze Longest Drive Through Amazing India’ campaign kick-started on September 15th,2014. It was flagged off at Jodhpur and went on to clock an astounding 23,800 kms during its drive, covering over 400 Indian towns across the length and breadth of India through mountainous terrains, coastlines, flat highways, congested city roads and the interiors of the country.

     

    Providing the campaign with its much needed boost, 92.7 BIG FM, India’s largest FM network successfully generated immense interest from the masses and assisted Honda in making this campaign an enormous success.

Extending the celebrations, 92.7 BIG FM in a unique offering is all set to launch a special morning show called ‘Seher’ with bhajan samraat – Anup Jalota.
     
    Anup Jalota – one of the greatest bhajan and ghazal singers of all time has contributed immensely to the Hindi devotional music and ghazal scene. After CDs, concerts and a lot of popular songs in his kitty, the bhajan expert is now going to be available exclusively to 92.7 BIG FM listeners from 5 am to 7 am every morning!
     
    Starting with inculcating optimistic thoughts and actions, Anup Jalota will sign in to the show with a beautiful shloka and a positive thought for the day. The expert at maintaining great vibes and leading a mentally healthy life will then keep the momentum going with a resonating bhajan for the listeners and narrate the story and meaning behind each bhajan. In order to make the show more interactive and engaging, listeners will also be able to call the renowned bhajan exponent and even request for a particular bhajan that they would like to hear.     MUMBAI: 92.7 BIG FM’s mega successful green campaign – BIG Green Ganesha enters its seventh year! With a vision, a thought for a better eco-friendly future was laid down in 2008 and the campaign was created.  BIG Green Ganesha aims at creating social consciousness towards making one of India’s largest and most popular festivals more ecologically sound and has so far touched over millions of Indians.

     

    With a massive on-ground newspaper collection drive already underway in 14 major cities across India, tons of newspapers collected from residential areas, celebrity houses, offices, shops and other commercial establishments will be supplied to renowned sculptors to transform them into artistic and beautiful Ganesha idols through paper mache and clay. The idols will be placed at prominent locations across cities where lakhs of people can come to pay their obeisance.

     

    With the aim to enrich content and build a stronger local connect, this year’s festivities get bigger and better with a 7-day radio marathon including special performances by popular local talents; inspirational short stories narrations on Lord Ganesha by Bollywood celebrities; dedicated time slots for devotional aarti and bhajans sung in local pandals with Musical Benchmarks; special vignettes of Baal Ganesha promoting eco-friendly celebrations and lots more.

Bhawana-ji as she is fondly referred to in the office, has been associated with 92.7 BIG FM since 2009 in the capacity of Film Expert, sharing her credible film reviews, along with fascinating trivia on Bollywood. With this move, she will now be responsible for developing insights along with the team, delivering to audiences a more engaging and enhanced aural experience.  In her role as entertainment editor, Bhawana-ji will be an integral part of the think-tank for all entertainment related shows and activities of the business. She will also play an important part in bringing newer perspectives and providing inputs and insights on all shows related to Bollywood.

In a one of its kind initiative, 92.7 BIG FM along with its RJs – RJ Siddharth, RJ Neelesh Misra and RJ Prateek will visit the Wagah border to celebrate this occasion with the BSF Jawans to soak in the feeling of freedom, patriotism and pride.

     

    As a part of this very special initiative, 92.7 BIG FM will connect with family and friends of the jawans before the journey; RJ Neelesh Misra will carry along their specially recorded messages and gifts to be conveyed to the jawans as a surprise from their loved ones.

    Mumbai, 29 July 2013: 92.7 BIG FM, India’s No. 1 radio network, today announced the launch of the 6th edition of BIG Green Ganesha, its hugely popular and immensely successful campaign launched in 2008 as part of a vision for a better tomorrow. The initiative aims at instilling a sense of responsibility amongst citizens towards creating a better environment by celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi, one of India’s most widely followed festivals, in an eco-friendly way. This year’s campaign will be initiated in eight different cities that will involve Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mysore, Tirupati, Sholapur, Vizag and Mangalore.

    The 2013 campaign is being launched by way of the brand new concept of ‘Ashta-Vinayak’, where eight unique eco-friendly paper mâché Ganesha idols will be installed at the eight locations in which the campaign will be run. In addition, the campaign will also attempt to set a record by collecting the maximum number of old newspapers from a single location and enter the prestigious ‘Limca Book of Records’. With the installation of 30 Ganesha Pandals, the campaign will be spread across 8 cities with the setting up of 48 paper mâché idols.

    Drawing attention to the massive use of toxins and non-biodegradable elements for the construction of Ganesha idols, the BIG Green Ganesha Campaign comes as a fresh reminder of change for all. A massive on-ground newspaper collection drive in residential areas, offices, shops and commercial establishments will mark the beginning of the campaign. The collected newspapers will be supplied to renowned sculptors and be used to create beautiful eco-friendly paper mâché Ganesha idols. The donation drive is a significant move since it educates the community and draws their support in order to create a better environment.

    The campaign will be promoted through high-decibel strategies and promotions involving an amalgamation of media networks that will include radio, print, outdoor, on-ground and digital. Apart from connecting with 1.5 crore people each year, more than 200 celebrities and 350 civic authorities will support the campaign.
