Confluence creates independent media planning unit Media One

MUMBAI: In a major structural change, ad agency Confluence has s spun off an independent Media Planning and Buying organisation that will provide clients with total and integrated above-the-line media services.

The new unit Media One will be run by Chabi Roy Gupta who will act as its president. Gupta has over 22 years experience in handling media from large agencies like FCB Ulka, McCann Erickson, PSL- Erickson and Confluence itself.

Media One has also been given the task of pitching and work for media businesses outside Confluence portfolio. They will function as an independent profit centre and will cater to the businesses of other clients and agencies who may wish to join hands with Media One. A company release adds that Media One is fully equipped with all the latest databases, syndicated studies, media researches and software that are required for providing professional media services. Through a team of highly trained media professionals, Media One will now serve all clients with top quality media planning, buying and operations through a team of more than ten media professionals.

In another development, Confluence opened its Bangalore office recently. Supriya Nistala, the manager, brings with her a skill-set and experience in advertising that spans over eight years in agencies like PSL Erickson and has been associated with Confluence since its inception five years ago
