Amy Hartwick joins ABC as VP, comedy development
MUMBAI: Amy Hartwick has joined US broadcaster ABC Entertainment as VP comedy development. The announcement was made by ABC senior VP comedy development Stephanie Leifer to whom she reports.
Prior to joining ABC, Hartwick was director of comedy at Fox Television, where she most recently was part of the team that developed My Name is Earl with Greg Garcia Yes, Dear Family Guy.
Leifer said, “In filling this position, we wanted to make sure we brought in an executive with both great relationships and a real passion for comedy. After working across the table from Amy for a while, we knew what a great addition she would be to the team. We are excited to have her at ABC.”
