3rd Intl short film festival kicks off in Chennai

MUMBAI: The two-day International Short Film Festival of India (SFFI) kicked off at South India Film Chamber of Commerce in Chennai today. Organised by the Don Bosco institute of communication and arts (DBICA), it will showcase 65 selected short films and documentaries from over 300 entries.







The festival will screen 21 international short films from around 15 countries and 44 national short films. It includes movies from different genres like drama, documentaries, animation, comedy, science-fiction and mystery.


The movies are produced by both professional and amateur filmmakers.


DBICA is a non-profit media and communication arts organisation with the mission to “celebrate the culture and art of the moving image through film making and film going experience of exceptional merit and diversity that challenge, transcend and entertain.”
