Viacom forays into outdoor advertising in China

MUMBAI: Viacom has entered the 16 billion Yuan outdoor advertising market in China by opening a shop in Beijing.

 

According to a China Business News Report, Viacom Beijing will offer outdoor ads on high-rise billboards and electronic displays on more than 5,000 buses and on light boxes in Beijing.

Viacom Beijing chairman Zhang Zhengli has been quoted as saying that the company is also negotiating with other provinces and may launch outdoor advertising on railways.
 
This is Viacom’s third branch in the world, the company already has its outdoor presence in the UK and the USA.
