Mumbai: : Magic House AI, an app to help kids create quick and one-of-a-kind stories, has launched on the App Store. The app uses revolutionary Generative AI from OpenAI’s ChatGPT and MidJourney to bring their imagination to life with text and image generation. The app allows users to make a few simple choices like choosing and naming your character, a place where the story takes place, and a magical object, based on which a 10-page storybook is generated. Your kid is now an author!
This is the first instance of an iPad App wherein Generative AI is being used to assist children to deploy their imagination and creativity. The app is fun and entertaining and also helps kids improve their storytelling skills and sparks their curiosity about technology and AI. Designed for children under the age of 12, with numerous choices for characters and locations, it allows kids to let their imaginations run free and share their stories with the world.
“My six year old, like many others his age, loves stories. When he created his own story about a cat, a dog, and the idea of buying a house, we were both excited and he wanted more! His enthusiasm inspired me to turn to Generative AI. I partnered with Shamir Allibhai who is a long time friend and we built and shipped this product in less than ten weeks. We’re very excited about the potential of AI; with proper guardrails, common sense development, it is poised to unlock tremendous value since the last mega cycle of the Internet,” said Kushagra Shrivastava, Co-Creator of Magic House AI.
“When Kushagra shared the idea with me to use generative AI to assist children in creating their own stories, I jumped right in: this is a fun, practical application for my videoML work/interest (and it may reduce the nightly stress of having to come up with bespoke stories)” added Shamir, Co-Creator of Magic House AI.
“As the Design Partner for Magic House, we at Fruitbowl are thrilled to assist in building a platform that helps kids foster their creativity and turn it into the future of storytelling. Creating visuals for children is always challenging because you have to strike the right balance between it being simple enough for them to understand and exciting enough to hold their attention. Pair that with an easy-to-navigate App UI and you have a winner that both the kids can enjoy and parents can trust,” said Fruitbowl Digital co- founder Dedeepya Reddy, a creative marketing agency headquartered in Mumbai with operations in India, US and Dubai.
Magic House is available on Apple App Store in iPad Only.
