Ad veteran Pratap Bose passes away

Mumbai: Ad maven Pratap Bose has bid adieu to the world. He breathed his last early morning today in Gurgaon.

He was diagnosed with a major illness three months back and his condition deteriorated recently.

Bose co-founded the marketing communication agency The Social Street in 2015 but stepped down from the post in 2020. He set up The Social Street after moving out of DDB Mudra where he was the COO. He was an advertising and marketing consultant for the last three and a half years.

Bose had a long stint with Ogilvy & Mather India for 17 years and worked in various capacities. He went on to become their youngest chief executive officer in 2006.

Bose was the former President of The Advertising Club. He had worked across geographies in Asia and Eastern Europe.

He is survived by his wife and two children.
