Mumbai: Loopify, a leading zero-plastic eco-friendly online gifting store, took to the streets of Mumbai with visually striking street banners conveying thought-provoking messages. With the launch of its ‘Fantastic Beasts of India collection, the company aimed to seize the attention of passers-by, sparking conversations and raising awareness about the urgent issue of plastic pollution and its devastating impact on these magnificent creatures. Actress and environmental advocate Dia Mirza has also come in support of Loopify by reposting its thought-provoking campaign on her official social media handle.
To effectively illustrate the disparity between urban life and the dire situation faced by India’s wildlife due to escalating plastic pollution in their natural habitats, Loopify strategically positioned its banners in key locations. Among the various copies used, the one that garnered the highest engagement was, “While you drink bottled water, the Sundarbans water is full of bottles.”
Loopify co-founder Hemal Gathani said, “I am thrilled to have spearheaded an impactful campaign that transcends traditional marketing approaches. Our ‘Fantastic Beasts of India’ initiative has captured the essence of environmental consciousness and ignited a movement towards positive change. By strategically placing thought-provoking street banners, we juxtaposed the urban hustle with the plight of endangered species, compelling viewers to pause and reflect. This campaign proves that storytelling is key in advertising, demonstrating that it can be done in just one line too”.
