    MUMBAI: Sun TV continued to dominate the charts across genres, while Colors replaced Star Plus to claim the second spot in week 7 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India’s all India data.

    Sun TV maintained the lead with 1014907 (‘000s), whereas Colors in the second place with 752390 (‘000s) nudged Star Plus down to number three with 743335 (‘000s).

    Zee TV fell to the fourth spot in week 7 with 711135 (‘000s), while Zee Anmol secured the fifth slot with 657952 (‘000s). Star Gold followed in the sixth place with 616633 (‘000s), whereas Life OK with 479884(‘000s) stood at number seven.

    Star India’s FTA channel Star Ustav with 448383 (‘000s), Sony Pal with 437755 (‘000s) and ETV Telugu with 434572 (‘000) garnered the eighth, ninth and tenth spots respectively.

    Zee TV fell to the fourth spot in week 7 with 711135 (‘000s), while Zee Anmol secured the fifth slot with 657952 (‘000s). Star Gold followed in the sixth place with 616633 (‘000s), whereas Life OK with 479884(‘000s) stood at number seven.

    Star India’s FTA channel Star Ustav with 448383 (‘000s), Sony Pal with 437755 (‘000s) and ETV Telugu with 434572 (‘000) garnered the eighth, ninth and tenth spots respectively.

    MUMBAI: Week 7 sees Turner International Inc’s Cartoon Network’s viewership taking a considerable dip from 54735 (000s sums) in week six to 51400 (000s sums). The channel has dropped to the fifth position in the list.

    Staying strong at the top spot is Viacom 18’s Nickelodeon with 79007 (000s sums), which is less compared to the channel’s viewership last week.

    Turner’s other kids channel, Pogo TV has maintained its second position in the list with 55453 (000s sums) and is closely followed by Hungama with 55043 (000s sums) viewership ratings. On the other hand, Disney Channel secured the fourth spot with 51470 (000s sums) ratings.

    On the programming front, Nick’s Motu Patlu in Alien World bagged the title of the most watched programming in the kids genre with 918 (000s sums), followed Hungama’s My Friend Ganesha with 879 (000s sums).

    Nick’s Motu Patlu Kungfu Kings with 781 (000s sums) and Shiva with 516 (000s sums) were at the third and fourth spots respectively. The fifth most watched programming in kids channels was Pogo TV’s Chhota Bheem And The Sky Dragon with 504 (000s sums). Overall, a dip in the viewership ratings of kids genre was observed in week 7.

    MUMBAI: Week 7 sees Turner International Inc’s Cartoon Network’s viewership taking a considerable dip from 54735 (000s sums) in week six to 51400 (000s sums). The channel has dropped to the fifth position in the list.

    Staying strong at the top spot is Viacom 18’s Nickelodeon with 79007 (000s sums), which is less compared to the channel’s viewership last week.

    Turner’s other kids channel, Pogo TV has maintained its second position in the list with 55453 (000s sums) and is closely followed by Hungama with 55043 (000s sums) viewership ratings. On the other hand, Disney Channel secured the fourth spot with 51470 (000s sums) ratings.

    On the programming front, Nick’s Motu Patlu in Alien World bagged the title of the most watched programming in the kids genre with 918 (000s sums), followed Hungama’s My Friend Ganesha with 879 (000s sums).

    Nick’s Motu Patlu Kungfu Kings with 781 (000s sums) and Shiva with 516 (000s sums) were at the third and fourth spots respectively.     MUMBAI: Zee Café emerged as the number one channel in the English general entertainment channels (GECs) genre, while the English movies genre saw Movies Now continuing its dominant streak, according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) All India data in week 7. 

    English GEC

    In this week, Zee Café garnered the pole position with 229 (‘000s) followed by Comedy Central, which retained its second position with 217 (‘000s) with a dip in rating as compared to the previous week. AXN secured the third position with 205 (‘000s), Star World grabbed the fourth position with 137 (‘000s) and Colors Infinity SD stood at number five with 69 (‘000s).

    English Movies

    Movies Now continued to lead the genre and bagged the first position with an increase in ratings with 3083 (‘000s) as against 2542 (‘000s) in week 6.

    Star Movies captured the second berth with 2519 (‘000s) followed by HBO at number three, which saw a slight dip in rating with 1705 (‘000s). Sony Pix with 1384 (‘000s) was at number four, while Zee Studio secured the fifth position with 1271 (‘000s).

    MUMBAI: Zee Café emerged as the number one channel in the English general entertainment channels (GECs) genre, while the English movies genre saw Movies Now continuing its dominant streak, according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) All India data in week 7. 

    English GEC

    In this week, Zee Café garnered the pole position with 229 (‘000s) followed by Comedy Central, which retained its second position with 217 (‘000s) with a dip in rating as compared to the previous week. AXN secured the third position with 205 (‘000s), Star World grabbed the fourth position with 137 (‘000s) and Colors Infinity SD stood at number five with 69 (‘000s).

    English Movies

    Movies Now continued to lead the genre and bagged the first position with an increase in ratings with 3083 (‘000s) as against 2542 (‘000s) in week 6.

    Star Movies captured the second berth with 2519 (‘000s) followed by HBO at number three, which saw a slight dip in rating with 1705 (‘000s). Sony Pix with 1384 (‘000s) was at number four, while Zee Studio secured the fifth position with 1271 (‘000s).

    While DD National made an exit from the list of top 10 Hindi general entertainment channels, Sony Pictures Networks India’s comedy channel Sab TV made an entry. 

    Colors grabbed the lead position in the Hindi GEC genre with 716604 (‘000s) followed by Star Plus, which declined in ratings and bagged the second place with 692564 (‘000s). 

    Zee Network’s Hindi entertainment channel Zee TV garnered the third berth with a decline in ratings at 666691 (‘000s) as against 686349 (‘000s) in week 6. On the other hand, its free to air channel too witnessed a fall in ratings and secured the fourth spot with 656412 (‘000s) as against 669828 (‘000s) in the previous week. 

    Life OK climbed up to number five from its last week’s sixth position with 465871 (‘000s) followed by Star Ustav with 446217 (‘000s) in the sixth place. 

    Sony Pal with 433875 (‘000s) and Rishtey with 371925 (‘000s) garnered seventh and eighth slots respectively. While Sab TV, which exited the list last week, stood at number nine with 355146 (‘000s) followed by Sony Entertainment Television in the tenth berth with 336447 (‘000s).

On the other hand, its free to air channel too witnessed a fall in ratings and secured the fourth spot with 656412 (‘000s) as against 669828 (‘000s) in the previous week. 

    Life OK climbed up to number five from its last week’s sixth position with 465871 (‘000s) followed by Star Ustav with 446217 (‘000s) in the sixth place.

    MUMBAI: According to Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India data, week 6 has witnessed no major change in the perking order of various regional languages channels. Big Magic continues to lead the Bhojpuri genre in week 6.

    On the other hand, week 5’s new entrant in Tamil genre J Movies exit the list in week 6 whereas Alankar maintained its presence.

    Bangla GECs

    Star Jalsha continues to lead and took the number one position with 247291 (‘000s) followed by Zee Bangla in the second place with 138368 (‘000s). Jalsa Movies with 68287 (‘000s) and Colors Bangla with 33559 (‘000s) held on to their third and fourth place respectively. Zee Bangla Cinema was fifth in line with 31840 (‘000s).

    Bhojpuri GECs

    Big Magic Ganga retains it numero uno position with an increase in ratings with 14575 (‘000s) as against 10365 (‘000s) in week 5. Even Bhojpuri Cinema witnessed a spike in ratings with 10035 (‘000s) in the second position. Dabangg grabbed the third spot with 7932 (‘000s). Dangal TV too saw a spike in ratings and maintained its fourth place with 5381 (‘000s). ETV Bihar Jharkhand was in the fifth spot with 3457 (‘000s).

    Kannada GECs

    Colors Kanada stood firm in the first spot even in week 6 with a drop in ratings at 254250 (‘000s) as against 261277 (‘000s) in week 5. Zee Kannada in the second spot witnessed a rise in ratings with 162335 (‘000s). Udaya TV claimed the third spot with 155827 (‘000s). On the other hand, Uday Movies dropped to the fourth slot with 148563 (‘000s), while Suvarna dropped to fifth position with 147644 (‘000s).

    Malayalam GECs

    Asianet continued to hold the top slot with a rise in ratings with 333827 (‘000s) as against 330282 (‘000s) in week 5 followed by Mazhavil Manorama with 103484 (‘000s) in the second place. Flowers TV maintained its place at number three with 87906 (‘000s). Asianet Movies with 70265 (‘000s) stood at number four and Surya TV with 54623 (‘000s) was at number five.

    Oriya GECs

    Sarthak TV maintained its position on top with 109559 (‘000s) followed by Tarang TV with 55659 (‘000s). Colors Oriya retained its third berth with 21579 (‘000s) whereas Odisha TV retained its fourth position with 20103 (‘000s) followed by Alankar with 13218 (‘000s) in fifth place.

    Marathi GECs

    Zee Marathi continued to maintain its numero uno position with 129231 (‘000s) with a fall in its rating compared to the previous week. It was followed by Colors Marathi with 88545 (‘000s), whereas Zee Talkies maintained its third position with 668724 (‘000s). Star Pravah was in the fourth spot with 48180 (000s). Maobili stayed in the fifth slot with 20288 (000s).

    Tamil GECs

    Sun TV remained the undisputed leader in the Tamil space with a minor spike in ratings at 962984 (‘000s) as against 962670 (‘000s) in week 5. KTV was at number two with 251513 (‘000s) whereas Star Vijay continued to hold its third spot with 177737 (‘000s).

    Zee Tamil climbed up one place to take the fourth place with 77246 (‘000s), while Polimer dropped at number five with 73835 (‘000s).

    Telugu GECs

    ETV Telugu continued to lead the Telugu genre with 422627 (‘000s) followed by Zee Telugu with 393703 (‘000s). Maa TV was in third spot with 338810 (‘000s), whereas Gemini TV retained its place in the fourth rung with 268742 (‘000s). Gemini Movies with 169771 (‘000s) stood in the fifth position in week 6.
