  • ICC FTP draft creates two and a half month window for the IPL

ICC FTP draft creates two and a half month window for the IPL

Mumbai: In a move that signifies the importance of Twenty20 league cricket, the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) near-final draught Future Tours Programme (FTP) has created a two-and-a-half-month window for the Indian Premier League (IPL) every year. There are also home-season windows for the Hundred and the Big Bash League (BBL) in England and Australia’s schedules.

A report in ESPNcricinfo said that the near-final draft of the ICC’s latest FTP for men’s cricket lays out the international cricket due to be played by the 12 full members between May 2023 and April 2027. It is built primarily on two cycles of the World Test Championship (WTC), a host of ICC events, and plenty of bilateral white-ball cricket.

Over the next four years, there are very few international cricket matches scheduled from the latter week of March to the first week of June. The IPL is played during that time.

The Twenty20 Leagues also have a timeframe for England and Australia. However, the report said that, in contrast to the IPL, the Hundred and windows don’t bring international cricket to a halt. England and Australia, who have previously played both tournaments along with international games, must make room in their schedules for them.

For instance, a three-week window between July and August is free of any international cricket in every English summer in this draft FTP. The ECB has advocated for more time for England’s marquee white-ball players during scheduling discussions for this FTP, so it stands to reason that they will have more time in their marquee white-ball competition. Due to international commitments, some of England’s top players, including Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, and Joe Root, only participated in two games during the Hundred’s inaugural season.

Other members have also made space for their T20 leagues, said the report. For example, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL)’s August-September window is all but set, though there’s only ever been a handful of international cricket played in the Caribbean in those months. Bangladesh has kept January free for the BPL in each of the last four years of FTP, said the report.

Meanwhile, another report by ESPNcricinfo.com said that as per the near-final draft FTP, India is scheduled to play 38 tests, four fewer than England (42) and three fewer than Australia (41). Only two other countries have more than 30 tests on their calendar: Bangladesh (34) and New Zealand (32). The Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which is a test match series between India and Australia, has five tests. This is the first time since 1992 that this has happened. India will travel to Australia for five tests in December and January 2024-25, and the return series will take place in India in early 2027. Both series are part of the next two World Test Championship cycles in 2023–25 and 2025–27, respectively.

India is also scheduled to play two five-test series against England—at home in early 2024 and away in 2025. The home series will be part of the 2023–25 World Test Championship cycle, while the five tests in England are part of the 2025–27 WTC cycle.

Apart from the series against Australia and England, India has played more than two tests in a bilateral contest only once: a three-test series at home against New Zealand in October-November 2024. The rest of India’s WTC series is limited to two tests. The report said England and Australia, on the other hand, are scheduled to play several three-test series over the next four years.

The final draft is expected to be presented at the ICC’s Annual General Meeting on 25 and 26 July 2022, in Birmingham.

  • FanCode & DD Sports partner for exclusive TV broadcast of India tour of West Indies

FanCode & DD Sports partner for exclusive TV broadcast of India tour of West Indies

MUMBAI: The Indian cricket team will play with West Indies in an eight-match series comprising three ODIs and five Twenty20 Internationals. The series will run from 22 July – 7 August 2022. The matches will stream digitally on the Dream11-owned platform FanCode. The company, which has the rights for West Indies Cricket till 2024 has sub-licensed the broadcast rights to free-to-air (FTA) platform DD Sports, which is available in 210 million homes across the country. Sports-only digital platform FanCode has announced the exclusive partnership with DD Sports aims to build accessibility for the tour for television viewers across the country.

This marks the first time in over two decades that the pubcaster will exclusively telecast Indian cricket on the television. The matches will be on air during primetime. ODIs start at 7 p.m and T20Is start at 8 p.m.

Prasar Bharati CEO Mayank Kumar Agrawal said, “Cricket is the undisputed leader in sports & entertainment in India. Even in the fast-growing digital age, there continues to be a significant market and audience for sports consumption on television, and we are glad to bring the upcoming India tour of the West Indies to the masses through DD Sports. While FanCode is building a unique digital experience for sports fans, their extension of rights to DD Sports will mean wider access to all sports fans for the series.”

FanCode co-founder Prasana Krishnan said, ”FanCode’s single-most objective is to provide superlative user experience and solve for accessibility gaps fans to witness in sports consumption and experience, in line with the government’s vision to transform India’s adaptability for digital through initiatives like Digital India. DD Sports’ reach in smaller cities and towns is unbeatable, making it the ideal platform to televise the India tour of West Indies, while we continue to build a superior digital experience for fans nationally.”

The series for the record will be absent on private channels. Normally DD only airs India cricket on Freedish for which content sharing by the rights holder is mandatory. In this case, the rights holder is a subscription-based digital platform that does not have a TV channel. Last year, FanCode had inked a deal with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) to air the series until 2024. During the rights period, India is also scheduled to make another visit to the West Indies besides the upcoming series.

Other teams who will visit the West Indies in the rights period for cricket series include England, Australia, South Africa and Pakistan. Earlier, WICB rights were with Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI).

FanCode decided to go after consolidated rights (TV+Digital) as it wants to grow its subscriber base. It has been learnt that the rates on DD Sports are Rs 3 lakh for a spot on ODIs and Rs 5 lakh for the Twenty20 Internationals. Vin Global Media is the sales agent that is selling the series on DD Sports to advertisers. Ad revenue is the norm and will be shared 75:25 in favour of the rights holder who in this case is FanCode.

Advertisers are said to be surprised that the series is on FTA. The last two Twenty20 Internationals will be played in Florida, America.

Lodestar UM VP Avinash Hegde said that the good news is that the matches are in primetime. At the same time, marketing and promotional activities will need to be done to inform consumers that the matches are going to be available on TV exclusively on DD Sports. “Consumers were used to watching West indies cricket matches on Sony. The need would be to see how Doordarshan manages to communicate to the cricket fans and promote the series effectively. The series not being on a private broadcaster could see a small amount of viewer disconnect. So the communication must be effective. This is where things will settle”. FanCode will also need to do effective marketing to drive cricket fans to its subscription platform.

  • Kevin Pietersen lauds Eoin Morgan, Zak Crawley, and Jonny Bairstow

Kevin Pietersen lauds Eoin Morgan, Zak Crawley, and Jonny Bairstow

MUMBAI: Kevin Pietersen has attributed white-ball captain of England, Eoin Morgan, for England’s 3-0 victory over New Zealand. He said it was Eoin Morgan who brought a culture shift to English cricket in the year 2015, which, seven years later, is already showing results.

He further said that a culture shift like that which handed England a 3-0 victory was worth it. In addition to this, he mentioned Brendon McCullum, and he said from all the years that he had known Brendon, he knew how Brendon intended to bring a positive attitude to the English team.

Going further, he also lauded England’s Cricket Board(ECB) for the inclusion of 24 years old lad Zak Crawley in the test match against India. Brendon McCullum’s updated management has constantly backed Zak Crawley. In fact, according to him, it would have been a massive blunder if Zak Crawley hadn’t been included despite his failure against New Zealand.

It’s important to note that Zak scored merely 87 runs in 6 innings on an average of 14.5. Even Jonny Bairstow, who’s known for his fearless shots in shorter formats of the game, hasn’t missed out on Kevin Pietersen’s compliments. He said it’s a treat to his eyes to see Jonny play, and the inclusion of Jonny in the test team is a bonus because Jonny is always ready to score rapidly in test matches, and Brendon’s new management backs him.

Kevin has given credit to IPL for Jonny’s high performance because he got accustomed to massive crowds and faced nearly all kinds of bowlers. However, after closely monitoring the 1st innings of the 5th test match of India vs England, it seems like Kevin wasn’t wrong about Jonny’s performance at all. Jonny scored 106 runs in merely 140 balls at a phenomenal average of 75.71; thus, keeping that in mind, we can say Jonny is having his time of life in 2022.

Furthermore, Kevin said that after the English team handed over a 3-0 defeat to New Zealand, he was shocked how New Zealand was able to lift the world test championship trophy because they certainly didn’t deserve it.

He also highlighted the efforts of Eoin Morgan on how he has transformed the English cricket team and brought out the best in the players. With a winning culture, young talent backing, etc. overall, Eoin Morgan should be widely appreciated for his devotion and honesty towards English cricket. Kevin thinks Eoin always believed in his players, and that’s what a great leader does. But it’s sad to see him being replaced by another great batsman, Jos Butler.

  • SPN obtains Delhi HC injunction order to protect copyright of India-England cricket series

SPN obtains Delhi HC injunction order to protect copyright of India-England cricket series

Mumbai: Sony Pictures Networks (SPN) has obtained a Dynamic John Doe injunction order from the Delhi high court to prevent copyright infringement for the India-England international cricket series in July. This will protect SPN against unauthorised and illegal IP disclosure on the internet and other social media platforms.

As per the Dynamic John Doe order, certain multi-system operators (MSO), local cable operators (LCO) and websites/uniform resource locators (URLs) are prohibited from communicating and broadcasting to the public the cricketing series due to their indulgence in piracy and infringing SPN’s copyright in the broadcast and digital transmission rights for the cricketing series.

The said order prohibits the websites/URLs in any manner, from hosting, streamlining, reproducing, distributing, making available to the public and/or communicating to the public or facilitating the same on their websites, through the internet in any manner whatsoever, any cinematograph work, content, programme or event in which SPN has copyright.

The said order further prohibits MSOs and LCOs from in any manner hosting, streaming, reproducing, distributing, broadcasting, making available to the public and/or communicating to the public any unauthorised and unlicensed reproduction or broadcast on the local channels or through other means of various copyrighted content, including but not limited to the cricketing series through cable network.

Further, in general, various internet service providers (ISPs) are directed to block access to the websites/URLs. If SPN discovers any other websites / MSOs/LCOs infringing its copyrights in respect of the cricketing series, it can approach the Delhi high court under this John Doe Order and seek requisite reliefs. In addition, a local commissioner has also been appointed to enforce the provisions of the said order against MSOs/LCOs indulging in piracy by unauthorizedly distributing or transmitting/communicating/redistributing the cricketing series without a valid license from SPN.

SPN had acquired an exclusive license from the England and Wales Cricket Board Limited (ECB) to broadcast/communicate the India-England series to the public in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and the Maldives in 2021.

However, the series had to be stopped midway, after four test matches, owing to rising Covid cases. The current John Doe Order protects SPN’s copyright for the remainder of the cricketing series, starting July 2022, which comprises one test match, three T20 matches and three one-day international matches.

  • Badshah and Punit Balan inks partnership deal for Mumbai team in Ultimate Kho Kho

Badshah and Punit Balan inks partnership deal for Mumbai team in Ultimate Kho Kho

Mumbai: A tinge of Bollywood has been added to Ultimate Kho Kho with popular singer Badshah joining the league as co-owner of the Mumbai franchise alongside renowned film producer, developer and sports enthusiast, Punit Balan.

The Mumbai-based team completes the line-up for the inaugural edition of Ultimate Kho Kho which will take off later this year.

Fascinated by the pace and elegant style of the game as well as the nostalgic value that the sport has for him, Badshah believes Ultimate Kho Kho has humongous potential. He aims to inspire and build superstars in this indigenous sport through this association.

Speaking about his first sports venture Badshah said, “My mother used to play Kho-Kho during her college days and this ground-rooted game is very close to my heart. This nostalgic and personal connection triggered me to be part of Ultimate Kho Kho.”

“It’s an adrenaline packed, fast-paced indoor sport with extremely agile players doing Sky-Dives in air. In general, the culture of Mumbai is fast and efficient and that’s what we want this team to be. My vision would be to nurture the best players out of this league, and we want to ensure the best environment, infrastructure, training and nutrition for the players,” he further added.

Besides heading the Balan Group—a company, which is valued at Rs 3,500 crore, Punit Balan also owns teams in various sporting leagues like badminton, tennis, table tennis and handball league apart from investment in sports employment start-up and actively supporting various sportspersons.

Mumbai franchise co-owner Balan said, “It’s very important to adopt the right approach if you want to grow something. I have been involved in developing sports through leagues in the past and now alongside Ultimate Kho Kho, I want to play a part in Kho-Kho’s journey to success.”

The traditional sport originated in Maharashtra and the state has been a dominant force in the Indian Kho-Kho circuit. As many as three teams from Maharashtra competed in the National Championships and in the recently concluded Khelo India Youth Games also, they emerged champions in both boys and girls categories.

Ultimate Kho Kho CEO Tenzing Niyogi said, “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Badshah and Punit as co-owners of the sixth franchise. We already have on-boarded big corporates as well as the Government of Odisha and now these two popular names from the entertainment sector reflect the positioning and calibre of the league. Kho-Kho has deep roots in Maharashtra and a team representing the state’s capital will surely help us bolster the popularity of the game.”

With this development, Ultimate Kho Kho continues to take giant steps towards its mission of revolutionising this homegrown sport. The league had earlier added eminent corporate names to its roster including the Government of Odisha in collaboration with ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel, Adani Group, GMR Group, Capri Global and KLO Sports.

  • There is sound commercial viability basis for the money spent on the IPL media rights: CA Atul Thakkar

There is sound commercial viability basis for the money spent on the IPL media rights: CA Atul Thakkar

Mumbai: India is on the cusp of a revolution in the sports business. A recently released report compiled by Anand Rathi Advisors (ARAL) confirms what sports pundits have been claiming for long – that India’s time as a sporting superpower has come.

According to ARAL, the sports industry is estimated to reach $100 billion by 2027; up 4x from $27 billion in 2020.

The report hypothesizes that the industry will be driven by India’s gigantic youth population (400 million people, larger than the population of the US) and rapidly improving economic conditions. Historically what has been seen is that as basic needs are met, the populace leans towards consumption that supports a healthier lifestyle and entertainment.

“We believe that the entire sports media market will grow at an unprecedented rate over the next few years,” said CA Atul Thakkar.

Thakkar joined ARAL in 2013. He joined the financial services firm in 2007 and sharpened his leadership skills at the organisation for over 15 years. Prior to this, he began his career with Kagrana & Associates Chartered Accountants.

In conversation with Indiantelevision.com, Anand Rathi Advisors director – investment banking CA Atul Thakkar shared his views on the sports media market.

    Excerpts:

On the factors that will propel the sport media market in India

Viewership and engagement will drive the sports media market. The unique ability of sports to draw eyeballs from a wide set of captive audience over an extended period of time is what compels brands/advertisers to spend money on sports. With multiple sports events gaining traction with the youth (cricket, kabaddi, F1, UFC etc.), unveiling of new sporting leagues and access to sports over multiple platforms – overall viewership of sport will grow. We believe that the entire sports media market will grow at an unprecedented rate over the next few years.

On the IPL rights being split between two broadcasters

Given the unique position that digital has come to occupy in today’s times, from BCCI’s (Board of Control for Cricket in India) perspective it makes commercial sense to split the rights between television and digital. It is a function of changing consumption patterns that has driven this decision. Media consumption is shifting towards digital with consumers spending +50 per cent time on digital as compared to television and this will increase manifold over time. We would not be surprised if the next media rights auction sees digital rights base prices exceed that of television.

On whether Disney Star and Viacom18 will make money

There is a sound commercial viability basis for the money spent on the rights. India is a large market, we have 400 million people in the age group of 15-45, which is larger than the population of the US, presenting an opportunity to grow sports viewership exponentially provided it is packaged as a mix of entertainment and sporting prowess – which the IPL is. Viewership has further potential to grow as the IPL expands into new geographies globally. We expect that the first two years will remain the investment period dedicated towards increasing the viewer base while the returns start coming in post that.

On the IPL ratings falling on TV

Covid-19 was a setback for IPL, in which the matches were postponed, the venues were changed. This created a break in the excitement of the game. However, the latest IPL season with two new teams was a success. The reason for falling television viewership is that people are shifting to OTT platforms and prefer to watch the game online. IPL is a valuable property and the only major sporting event in the country, we expect viewership to continue to rise with a change in the OTT and television mix.

On the rights value growth potential for other cricket properties like ICC

Cricket’s base in India and the South Asia region in general, combined with BCCI’s monetary heft, made IPL a massive success. The T20 format of the IPL is short, packed with action and easy to consume. We do not see any other cricket property having the wherewithal or the market to create a league of similar scale and fan following as the IPL.

On whether other sports are gaining traction in terms of viewership and rights value

Cricket has clearly dominated India in terms of viewership i.e. nine million, however, other sports leagues like PKL are growing, the viewer share of PKL has grown from 31 per cent to 39 per cent in five years. ISL again, has gained global recognition and has become the fifth largest football league in terms of viewership. The properties other than IPL, though currently smaller, have the potential to grow with the right investments.

Also Read:Indian sports media market to touch $13.4 bn by 2027: Report

On the role that digital is playing in disrupting and growing rights value

India will have 900 million internet users in the next five years, underscoring the potential of digital rights. While TV was the main source of entertainment in Indian middle-class homes, the past few years have seen a rapid pivot toward online streaming due to affordable internet and smart devices.

The pandemic accelerated the digital media growth in India. For instance, the premium paid for the media rights in the IPL, 1.7x for digital and 1.3x for television, shows the potential that corporates see in digital rights and their willingness to pay for it.

On the progress that local leagues like ISL, PKL are making

ISL and PKL have been the underdogs as compared to the IPL as they do not come with the money power that IPL has. Sports is entertainment, which PKL has managed to deliver with its format while ISL still has to improve its viewer engagement. ISL for one has always been popular with a consistent viewership from a core base. Investments in making the games more engaging – better camera angles capturing the action, for instance, will catapult ISL substantially.

Both leagues have started small and have seen viewership traction with numbers that would be considered a success in most developed nations. The increase in viewership will see sponsorship pick up for these two leagues. They do have a very long way to go as compared to IPL, but without doubt they have been successful.

On the potential impact of inflation in the sports media rights market in the coming five years

Inflation is a transitory economic phenomenon. We do not see it having a significant impact over the next five years.

On advertising and subscription being important

Advertising is the larger chunk of revenues, however the rates itself are determined based on viewership and subscriber base. Subscription revenue provides a base to build on in periods where there aren’t any major events, shows or movies.

On whether the startup funding slowdown will impact the ad market for sports

Start-ups account for a minor portion of Sports Sector advertising. The start-ups that do spend the big bucks – like Dream11, Byju’s and Unacademy – are the leaders in their space and are well funded. A brand aims to reach the largest set of viewers, sports invariably provide this opportunity – with millions of people tuning in for 90 uninterrupted minutes.

In the current context, we expect brands to rationalise spends and skew it towards mega events that draw eyeballs – such as sports. There will continue to be multiple bids for sponsorship and we do not think the slowdown in the funding will have any significant impact on the ad market for sports.

On trends being seen in gaming, e-sports in terms of investments and fan following.

The gaming and esports sector is very differentiated. Each platform has a different strategy which doesn’t lend itself to straight analysis. You will see behemoths in each segment, but the differentiated experience in each platform will allow for them to co-exist and thrive.

On the way forward for India to follow other sports more

Our thoughts on the way to expand sports is to create several commercial leagues – in the US for instance, a country with a population a third of India’s – there are over a 100 functioning leagues. Competitive leagues will make sports a viable career option, ensuring wider participation.

For instance, the IPL has given a platform for talented sportsmen, who although have not made it to the national team, have found a way to make a meaningful career in the sport. Presence of leagues will have a trickle down effect with children wanting and parents willing to allow their wards to play sport competitively, creating demand for related infrastructure, products and services, which enterprising individuals will fill.

The ultimate aim as a society should be to make every individual play sport competitively, there are a host of character traits and health benefits that sports bring that can have significant societal impact which will help the nation in the long term.

  • We add more credibility & variety to our sports line-up every year: Rajesh Kaul

We add more credibility & variety to our sports line-up every year: Rajesh Kaul

Mumbai: India loves cricket with 90 per cent of most watched sports broadcasts in the country being live cricket. Sony Sports, a leading sports broadcaster, is going to bring 1800+ hours of live cricket on television screens starting from June till February 2023.

Sony Sports has recently launched its cricket campaign for the year led by Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and actor Pankaj Tripathi. The ‘Non-stop cricket on Sony Sports Network’ kickstarts with the broadcast of the India tour of Ireland and England.

In the previous year, the sports broadcaster set new viewership records with its back-to-back programming of marquee sporting events including Olympics Games Tokyo 2020, UEFA EURO 2020, and Copa America.

Sony Sports, once again, hopes to ride the momentum of its back-to-back cricket calendar comprising India and non-India cricket, women’s cricket and T20i tournaments to garner viewership and attract advertiser attention.

Leading the sports and distribution verticals for Sony Pictures Networks (SPN) India, Rajesh Kaul is responsible for invigorating the sports business at SPN and the acquisition of marquee sports properties for the network.

He also drives international sales for the network in collaboration with the digital team to expand SPN’s brand presence and lead across the world. Under his leadership, the SPN distribution has been expanding rapidly.

Kaul joined the SPN in 2008. He began his career with ICI Paints and thereon moved on to Modi Entertainment Network. He joined ESPN Star Sports in 1997 and sharpened his leadership skills at the organisation for over 11 years. Rajesh played a vital role in creating the success story of ESPN Star Sports, heading their distribution and marketing nationally, and was credited with the successful launch of Star Cricket.

In conversation with Indiantelevision.com, Sony Pictures Networks India chief revenue officer, distribution and head – sports business Rajesh Kaul speaks about Sony Sports strong sports programming line-up and the business and marketing strategy to maximise eyeballs and revenues.

On the diverse line-up of live cricket for the year 2022

With each passing year we add more credibility and variety to our sports line up and this year the Sony Sports Network will be home to 1800+ hours of cricket. In addition to the marquee India tour of England, which has one historic Test match pending, the team also plays 3 T20i’s and 3 ODI’s in England. This will take place between India playing in Ireland and India playing in Zimbabwe. In addition to this action-packed calendar of Indian men’s cricket, we also have the women’s team touring England and an enviable bilateral cricket calendar featuring England vs New Zealand, Australia vs South Africa, Sri Lanka vs Australia, England vs South Africa, Australia vs England and more along with popular T20i tournaments like the Big Bash League, Pakistan Super League and Women’s Big Bash League.

On the amplification strategy of the sports network

Love for cricket knows no boundaries and this is what we have showcased through this campaign. To that end, we have crafted this ‘Non – Stop Cricket’ campaign featuring a very differentiated star Pankaj Tripathi, India’s most loved actor and Smriti Mandhana, Indian women team’s opening batter. Our sports network has been known for creating thought provoking and meaningful campaigns such as ‘Meri Doosri Country’, ‘Hum Honge Kamyab’, ‘Sona Mana Hai’ amongst others and this campaign, conceptualised through the creative partnership of our inhouse team and Scarecrow M&C Saatchi Advertising Agency, aims to break the clutter by bringing a leading woman cricketer to promote men’s and women’s cricket.

On beating the viewership records set in 2021

2021 was a landmark year for Sony Sports Network. In this milestone year, we hosted marquee sporting events such as the Olympics Games Tokyo 2020, UEFA EURO 2020, and Copa America, which helped us attract the highest ever ratings. Viewership impressions on TV for UEFA EURO 2020 were more than double of the previous edition, whereas ratings for Copa America & Olympics Games Tokyo 2020 grew by 59 per cent and 23 per cent respectively (BARC, All India U+R, All Audience, LIVE match Impressions on TV).

In 2022, we ride on an action-packed cricket calendar with 1800+ hours of cricketing action on our network. Cricket has always been a bestseller in our country and with the new era of Rohit Sharma and Ben Stokes’ captaincy in the upcoming India tour of England, there is a lot to look forward to on Sony Sports Network. Along with cricket, we also have football properties like UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Nations League, Bundesliga and much more. In addition to these we also have WWE and UFC action through the year, Grand Slam tennis action with the recently concluded Roland Garros, as well as domestic leagues like Prime Volleyball League and the upcoming Ultimate Kho Kho tournament.

    On its association with advertisers

Cricket has always been a major crowd puller and advertisers have always shown interest in various bilateral series, T20 leagues and international tournaments. Our campaign for our cricket calendar which includes India and non-India cricket, women’s cricket and T20i tournaments has attracted the interest of advertisers. Apart from that, team India’s remaining Test against England is seen as an attractive proposition due to its high value. This will be followed by limited overs’ T20i and ODI series which will mark the beginning of a new era of Rohit Sharma and Ben Stokes’ captaincy. Taking into consideration the importance of the series, we have already received a positive response from the advertisers.

We are confident that our partnership with Nodwin and Star Sports for the event would shine a light on Stan’s potential to grow as a leading fan engagement platform.”

We are delighted to have them on board as the ‘official collectibles partner’ for the series. With this tie-up, we have now covered one more access point to the tournament, post our association with Star Sports 2 for our television viewing audience, and with Loco and Glance Live for our digital audience,” said Nodwin Gaming co-founder and managing director Akshat Rathee.
