    B4U Network Employee’s pack & share 30000meals with under privileged children

    MUMBAI: On the occasion of completing over 18 years,B4U Network pledged 30,000 meals throughits partner NGO Rise Against Hunger India (RAHI)where they joined forces in the fight against hunger on 14th December, 2018. Over 150 employees of B4U gathered together to pack 30,000 nutritious meals in 5000 meal packets for the impoverished & undernourished children.

    B4U’s flagship music channel B4U Music pegged the theme for this year’s event “Music is food for the soul”hence the thought of nourishing 30000 underprivileged children by pledging nutritious meals as the networks Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. These food packs would be further distributed to 3 NGO’s; AIDS Combat International, Rotary Club Worlifor a school they have adopted in Karjat,Friendship Centre India – Home for Orphan and single parent children.

    The CSR activity resulted in a team bonding atmosphere and camaraderie among the team. Here the entire set-up resembled Henry Ford’s Assembly line functioning where the participants were divided into 10 teams which had a similar set-up of Dal, Rice, Dry vegetables and vitamin sachet in a single pack. Besides the 10 teams which were into packing the khichadi meals there were teams which delivered food to the tables as re-fills, a team which took the packed boxes to the truck and the team which helped in giving instructions.

    Along with a sense of fulfilment & gratitude for a social cause the employees also felt a sense of ownership, co-operation and camaraderie with their fellow colleagues. The event further extended into a rewards and recognition felicitation followed by a DJ party where the team let their hair down.

    MTV partners with Brave Combat Federation as exclusive broadcaster for India

    MUMBAI: Brave Combat Federation, the largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion in Bahrain, forges a strong partnership with MTV in a bid to develop the sport in India and make it a household name. The alliance comes close on the heels of Brave’s India foray with the much talked about fight night ‘Brave 20’ slated on 22nd December, 2018 in Hyderabad. To cement the partnership among fans, advertisers and the media & entertainment ecosystem, Brave will henceforth be addressed as MTV Brave 20 in India. 

    The robust deal entails 24 hours of Brave Indian and International’s content play out. MTV will have access to Brave’s archive of fight nights, public weigh-ins and ancillary footage right from Brave 1- 19. The exclusive partnership covers content from Brave 21, 22, 23 and MTV Brave 20. 

    Elaborating on the collaboration, Ferzad Palia, Head – Youth, Music & English entertainment at Viacom18 said, “MTV has been at the core of content that is ‘Unscripted’ and ‘Disruptive’ and our partnership with Brave Combat Federation for Brave 20, takes this proposition to the next level.     Creating a holistic reach for the property across the youth-targeted portfolio of Viacom18, the promotional spots for MTV Brave will run on- MTV, MTV Beats, VH1, Comedy Central and Colors Infinity. MTV Brave will also be promoted and telecasted on digital platforms including Jio TV and VOOT.  MTV will further promote the content across their social media platforms widening its reach to 70 million followers.

    MUMBAI: Girliyapa is back with a brand-new music video ‘Tu Bas Naach’, an end-of-year dance anthem with voice and character, that refuses to conform to the stereotypes and “rules” that are imposed on girls and women in our society.

    The song is composed and performed by VS42 aka Vaibhav Bundhoo, who composed the music for TVF’s iconic shows like Pitchers, Permanent Roommates, Yeh Meri Family and many others. It also features for the first time in India, 2 female rappers, Siri, from Bangalore and DeeMC, from Mumbai who’s featured in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming GullyBoy, and singer sisters Kavya-Kriti, from Bikaner.  

    The video stars Nidhi Bisht, Amyra Dastur, Shristi Srivastav, Ahsaas Channa among others grooving to the beats which are a fusion of hip hop.

    Commenting on the music video, Ahsaas Channa, said, “Tu Bas Nach is an expression of strength for women across the world. I'm glad to be part of this video that gives women hope for a better tomorrow”

    Sharing her take on the ideology of the song, Maanvi Gagroo, actress and star of Tripling 2, said, “The meaning of freedom and power is different for each individual.     ‘Pagal’ is a sad romantic melody encapsulating the journey of two lovers of different ethnicities re – uniting in death whereas ‘Putt Jatt Da’ is a groovy number showcasing the swanky lifestyle of a Jatt. Both the tracks have garnered rave reviews within just hours of its release. Fans have also been uploading covers of the tracks to pronounce their fondness for the songs and the heartthrob himself.
