    MUMBAI: The Nickelodeon franchise entertains millions of young fans across India and has always created a fun-filled environment for kids. As a leader in the kids’ category, Nickelodeon continues to engage young viewers with initiatives like #YogaSeHiHoga marking the occasion of International Yoga Day. The uniqueness of the campaign is that kids favorite Nicktoons like Motu Patlu, Doggy Don, Rudra, Spongebob and many others are teaching kids to practice yoga to stay physically and mentally healthy.

    Through a host of quirky videos and astons on-air, all the Nickelodeon franchise channels- Nick, Sonic, Nick Jr and Nick HD+, has creative communication of the Nicktoons performing various yoga asanas in the most adorable manner. The challenge aims at encouraging kids to imbibe yoga in their daily routine which would help them stay fit physically as well as mentally. All kids must do is watch their favorite toons perform the yoga asanas on the channels and share a picture or a video of them doing the same on nickindia.com and the best entries would get featured on the channel. To reach out to as many kids as possible, Nickelodeon has collaborated with one of the fastest growing influencer community on facebook like Unimo Mom and dad with interactive Yoga sessions planned along with other key mommy bloggers. With the endearing Nicktoons leading the way, thousands of entries from young fans have poured in!

    Last year, the campaign #YogaSeHiHoga saw Motu and Patlu perform yoga with Prime Minster Narendra Modi along with 40,000 people at Prabhat Tara Ground to promote the importance of healthy living. The initiative was applauded by the Prime Minister on his official social accounts. In addition to this, the brand also partnered with Mumbai’s biggest Yoga event – ‘Yoga by the Bay’ which was attended by over 10,000 yogis with Nicktoons Shiva and Rudra in attendance.

    As part of proliferating the campaign, the brand also collaborated with mommy networks and child celebrities Ruhanika Dhawan, Aakriti Sharma, Myra Singh Gill, to name a few, to come forward and participate in the challenge and further extend support to the initiative.

    Asianet is all set to telecast mega hit Hollywood movie  Toy Story 4’s   international television premiere on 14th June  2020 .

    Toy Story 4 is an adventure animation comedy fantasy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures.  It is the fourth installment in Pixar's Toy Story series and the sequel to Toy Story 3. It was directed by Josh Cooley  from a screenplay by Andrew Stanton and Stephany Folsom; the three also conceived the story alongside John Lasseter, Rashida Jones, Will McCormack, Valerie LaPointe, and Martin Hynes.     Cartoon Network and POGO roll out summer activities for stay-at-home kids

    MUMBAI: Cartoon Network and POGO are ushering in summer fun for their fans! Adding some much-needed excitement to the season, the channels have announced month-long digital campaigns. Helmed by awesome toons, Cartoon Network’s #CNHomeFun and POGO’s #WeForTheWorld initiatives aim at piquing family fun through do-it-yourself (DIY) projects, how-to-draw lessons for everyone who is stuck at home.

    Speaking on the campaigns, Cartoon Network and POGO  network head South Asia Abhishek Dutta for said, “During these extraordinary times, it’s a great time for parents to have fun together with their children with Cartoon Network’s #CNHomeFun and POGO’s #WeForTheWorld. Along with the launch of new shows, we wanted to capture imaginations with unique digital-led activations. These multi-platform campaigns have been designed around our most popular shows – like We Bare Bears, The Powerpuff Girls, Grizzy and The Lemmings and Mr. Bean – to bring fans even closer to their favourite characters.”

    The on-going #CNHomeFun campaign on Cartoon Network’s Facebook page (@CartoonNetwork.India) has received an overwhelming response from fans for its art, craft, and fitness activities. These videos feature much-loved toons from popular shows like the newly launched Bandbudh aur Budbak, and other hits such as Dexter’s Laboratory, We Bare Bears and The Powerpuff Girls. Kids can choose from myriad tutorial options including ‘learn to draw dexter’, ‘exercise with ice bear’, ‘push ups with gumball’, and ‘ppg race DIY’.

    POGO launched its #WeForTheWorld initiative on 31 May 2020, on its Facebook page (@POGOTVIndia) with a heartwarming video emphasising solidarity and togetherness. Through its inspiring lyrics, ‘Hum sab saath toh nahi… Phir bhi hum sab ek saath hai’ (Despite the distance, we are still together) the video reminds fans and parents that no matter the distance, we are all in it together. The video is promoted on-air and through POGO’s digital channels.

    #WeForTheWorld will also feature fun and stimulating activities on its social pages, like ‘paper cup magic fun with Mr. Bean’, ‘DIY POGO bookmarks’, ‘DIY race with Grizzy and the Lemmings’. To further boost the initiative, POGO will collaborate with popular influencers. Nidhhi Agerwal, an actor, dancer, and gymnast, will show how to make cookies and sandwiches in her segment ‘#FunWithNidhi’.

    In ‘art and craft activity’ by Kraft Affairs, the store will encourage kids to unleash their creativity and make floral alphabet wall hangings. The videos will be released every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with Saturdays exclusively featuring influencer-led content – till 30 June  2020.

In the past, the channel took the onus of making summer plan for kids with their campaign called #whatsyoursummerplan by hosting new episodes and movies of KickO & Super Speedo and Honey Bunny ka Jholmaal. Keeping the fun intact, the channel is back with exciting new episodes and brand-new movies of Paap-O-Meter allowing kids to catch their favourite YAY! toons in action from Monday to Friday at 3 PM.

    The series of new episodes will see the ghost trio Bhootboss and his two assistants Thakela and Pakela punish the wrongdoers, including people who contribute towards noise pollution with incessant honking, the serial litterers and many more. The gang is not far behind in reprimanding the kids who use the resources irresponsibly. All the right lessons served with unlimited fun makes the Paapometer as one of the most loved show. 

    In the past, The channel called out for entries where kids could choose their stories that they would want to see on Paap-O-Meter and the heartening responses led to creation  of  new episodes basis the entries received in  one-of-its-kind initiative.     POGO, India’s leading homegrown kids’ entertainment channel, has unveiled plans for the summer season with ‘Sun Sunny Bheem’ – a series of fresh content starring superhero Bheem – which will be aired throughout May.

    In its bid to offer hours of fun and entertaining content to young viewers, POGO will telecast four different locally-made animated shows featuring Bheem, who will be seen in his many avatars. An exciting series Chhota Bheem KungFu Dhamaka will air between 1st – 9th May, every day, at 12.30 pm.

    Kids can also be entertained by new Bheem movies every day as part of Bheem Ka Daily Dose starting Friday, 1st May onwards, at 11.30 am, this also includes a movie premiere Chhota Bheem Aur ‘Arazim Ka Raaz’ on Sunday, 10th May at 11.30 am. In addition to this, they can also catch new and exciting episodes of Super Bheem every afternoon starting from 11th May, Monday – Friday, at 12.30 pm.

    MUMBAI: Disney Kids channels in India are bringing in freshly brewed content to entertain kids this summer. With an eclectic mix of Indian and global stories, the summer line-up promises 100 hours of fresh content introducing kids to new stories in addition to their existing favourites across all the channels, including Disney Channel and Hungama TV.

    In keeping with the current scenario, where kids are looking for a friend who engages and interacts with them in a manner that they understand, Disney Channel is launching a campaign – #Homebuddy with a thought that they can spend plenty of time with their favourite characters. And Hungama, in line with the channel philosophy, will encourage kids to have lots of fun with #Gharpemachao as they stay safe at home.
