    The Great Shark Hunt documents the struggle for regulation of the shark meat industry in order to maintain the shark population. The programme promises an extensive new footage of sharks in their natural habitat.

    The Repossessors will take you to the front lines of the ongoing war between car lenders and delinquent debtors. Witness firsthand behind-the-scenes planning and successful execution of a wide variety of auto repossessions. Follow a variety of other repo men from different parts of the country as they prepare for and carry out their high stakes missions. Surveillance, hidden cameras, disguises, extensive planning, sheer instinct and sometimes partnering with Federal Marshals are all a part of the process of devising the perfect hit.

    Video Vigilantes is a show that showcases curtain twitching into the 21st Century. The camcorder revolution has taken Neighbourhood Watch to new extreme levels. From shopping kerb crawlers and drug dealers to nabbing knicker thieves and randy rozzers, video vigilantism is rife and it’s here to stay.

    Reality TV Channel continues with some of its popular programmes like Cheaters Series 4, Daring Capers, Dr G Medical Examiner and Patient Files in June.

    MUMBAI : The gates to the dream of the flower of Indian youth will open up through the CAT this November 19th. In the endeavor to help more and more of its viewers and readers to clear this first step CNN-IBN and Hindustan Times are offering content that would help tackle the CAT. On Print Hindustan Times through HT Horizons and CNN-IBN through its special programme “Bell the CAT” is providing invaluable advice to the candidates.

     

    Bell the Cat’ is a daily segment that will be aired in ‘Breakfast with India’ at 8:00am on CNN-IBN. In this series the candidate’s specific queries are being answered. The series will culminate with a half-an-hour special on 18th November, 2006 at 9:30 am with a repeat at 6:00 pm the same day.     MUMBAI: Zee Sports will telecast the BNP Paribas Davis Cup World Group 2006 Finals live from 1-3 December. To be held at the Olympic Stadium, Moscow this year the battle will be between Russia and Argentina.

    The two teams have met only once in Russia, with Marat Safin leading the hosts to a 3-2 victory at the Sports Palace Luzhniki in Moscow in 2002, states an official release.

    This year the Russian team consists of Shamil Tarpischev (Captain), Nikolay Davydenko, Dmitry Tursunov, Mikhail Youzhny, Marat Safin while the Argentinian team consists of Alberto Mancini ( Captain), David Nalbandian, Jose Acasuso , Agustin Calleri, Juan Ignacio Chela.

    Set against the rugged ranchlands of Wyoming, An Unfinished Life is the story of a modern-day western family, as stoic as they are divided, learning the true meaning of forgiveness. Robert Redford stars as Einar Gilkyson, a toughed-skinned, retired rancher who long ago turned his back on memories. Still in shock from his only son’s death a decade ago Einar has left his ranch fall into ruin along with his marriage.

    Now, Einar spends his days caring only for his hired hand, and last trusted friend, Mitch (Morgan Freeman), who was gravely injured in an encounter with a grizzly bear. Einar intends to live out his days in this heartbroken solitude…. until the very person he blames for his son’s accident comes to town; his daughter-in-law Jean (Jennifer Lopez).

    Jean shows up broke, on the run and with a girl named Griff (Newcomer – Becca Gardner), who she swears is the granddaughter Einar never knew he had. Suddenly, Einar’s quiet life is turned upside down as anger and accusations resurface.     “I would genuinely trade my job any day to run behind and get breaking news through. I would love to be a part of your Lakshmi Narayan Mittal exclusive, I would love to be the Devil’s Advocate and sit and corner Pranab Mukherjee, I almost thought that Karan had it that day. I would love to do what you did with the Bofor’s case. Just be there, hunt, investigate, it almost sounds like a fantasy. It’s the rush of discovering something that’s hidden under so many layers”

    “I was in an environment (in Delhi) where it was easy to accept rejection. I was constantly told that’s its not my cup of tea .I realized it’s the environment that’s propelling me towards a different destiny. That’s why I left. I have faced rejection from the day I stepped into Mumbai, from not winning the Ms India crown, to missing out so many auditions, to being rejected for an ad for home appliances because I didn’t look like an Indian housewife. So many people told Ekta Kapoor she’s out of her mind if she wanted to caste me .I mean rejection is not something new. I lost my first election. I would in fact take it as a sign of a new beginning because I’m in an environment where everybody that I know is not the type to give up easily.

    ‘I have stepped out of the comfort zone. Its not an easy thing to do but the biggest burden of Being Tulsi is the constant criticism that comes along with my job. I have from day one been the poster child for all the flak for all saas-bahu soaps and its not easy trying to maintain ones sense of balance or politeness through it all and let the critics get away’.
    “If you look at how soaps began post ‘Kyunki saas bhi….’, there were so many that came into being where the marketing strategy was “It’s different from the ‘saas- bahu’ soaps”. There were so many actors that came to the surface whose entire interview revolved around that one quote –” I don’t do saas- bahu”. But ironically most of them revolved and came about and started doing saas- bahu on their own because I think somewhere the realization came that it was not selling on the basis of that “we are different factor” .At the end of the day we are at of the entertainment business, channels have got caught in the revenue net. Today for a channel the viability of a project is much more important than the message I’m trying to give”.

    “I think he (Narendra Modi) has changed a lot of peoples opinion through his administrative work .I have spoken to him. He’s extremely gracious and I’m in touch with him. He was extremely gracious in letting a lot of things go and extremely gracious as not to comment on what I said. I think that’s one part that everyone has to accept. He never said a word about me. It says a lot about the man. He’s willing to be prosecuted for any crimes that courts might decide against him that’s says a lot about somebody who is sitting in a seat of power”
