The channel promoted the show through a 360 degree marketing campaign labeled ‘Everybody is getting into SUITS!’

    As party of the overall marketing campaign, a massive on-ground activity was planned leading up to the show. Starting October 4th, groups dressed in slick suits were seen across places ranging from prominent landmarks like heritage properties, metro stations and famous streets to the most, Oddest of places like, libraries, malls & sea facing promenades in Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai & Delhi. The activity was a huge success, generating buzz & direct integrations with more than one lakh people

    76% of Global Retail Banks Becoming More Innovative Finds New Study by Infosys & Efma

    BAMGLORE:  Infosys, a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing, today announced the launch of its Innovation in Retail Banking 2013 report. The fifth annual study, commissioned by Infosys and conducted by Efma, investigates how banks can overcome barriers to innovation and improve their innovation capabilities. This year’s study, which surveyed 148 banks in 66 countries, revealed that as the global economy recovers, retail banks across the world are increasingly investing in innovation as a means of generating revenue and controlling costs. In fact, 60% of banks surveyed have an innovation strategy compared to just 37% five years ago, when the report was first issued.

    The study also found that to overcome the main barriers to innovation – legacy systems and organizational siloes – banks are looking towards technologies that can simplify their operations and deliver a richer customer experience. In particular, mobile innovation is beginning to gather pace, with 77% of banks deploying or planning to deploy a mobile wallet solution.

    Key findings of the study include:

    76% of banks believe they are becoming more innovative, with the biggest increase being seen in customer channels

    7% of banks surveyed are increasing investment in innovation. This is an encouraging trend as the 2009 study revealed only 13% of banks had increased investment

    More than half (58%) of banks surveyed believe the ability to deploy new systems in components would have a positive impact on their ability to innovate.
    Mobile location-based offerings were cited as another area of innovation for banks, with 69% deploying or planning on making deployments

    · To enhance their product and service offerings, 45% of banks are already using or planning to invest in gamification, and 61% of banks currently allow or plan to allow customers to do some form of product personalization

    · Large and medium sized banks rated the top three barriers to innovation as legacy IT systems, culture and organizational siloes

    MUMBAI: Max Bupa Health Insurance hosted the second edition of Max Bupa Walk for Health initiative in Delhi and Mumbai today. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation from more than 16, 000 people in Delhi and Mumbai who pledged to incorporate more walking into their daily routine.

     

    Max Bupa Walk for Health is a first of its kind initiative which aims to encourage people to walk more and bring about a positive and long term sustainable behavioural change in their lifestyle. The five kilometre walk in Delhi was flagged off by Anuroop (Tony) Singh, Chairman, Max Bupa, Manasije Mishra, Chief Executive, Max Bupa and health icon and ace tennis player Sania Mirza.

     

    The Mumbai walk was flagged off by Birender Ahluwalia, Director – Sales and Distribution, Max Bupa and leading Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor. Nick toons Dora the Explorer and Ninja Turtles flagged off the two kilometre walk for children and senior citizens in Delhi. Speaking about the health initiative, Anuroop (Tony) Singh, Chairman, Max Bupa said,

Walking is one of the simplest forms of exercise and has innumerable health benefits.     NEW DELHI : ETV and Honda created a platform for the viewers of ETV to personally meet the Bollywood superstar, THE BOSS : Akshay Kumar along with the other star cast of the movie today, at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi.

    ETV partnered with Viacom 18’s movie BOSS, to promote the movie through a customized contest designed for it’s viewers to participate and win couple movie tickets, as well as a chance to meet Akshay Kumar in person. The initiative was presented by Honda Dream Neo.

    The BOSS contest, that was aired on ETV Uttar Pradesh/Uttarakhand, ETV Madhya Pradesh/Chhattisgarh, ETV Rajasthan and ETV Bihar/Jharkhand, created an excitement among the viewers to meet Akshay Kumar. An aggressive participation was seen during the contest.
