    Zee TV unveils a behen-sourced ‘Book of Nuskhe’ on the premiere of Ram Pyaare Sirf Hamare

    Spreading cheer with its first fiction offering post lockdown, Zee TV has recently introduced a refreshing comedy of errors that will get families together and make them laugh with its engaging, light-hearted narrative. Having premiered on 5th October and airing every Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM, Ram Pyaare Sirf Hamare captures the humorous escapades of a Bhopal-based housewife Dulari, who turns to a book of traditional ‘nuskhe’ to keep her ideal husband Ram safe from the advances of other women in the mohalla who can’t seem to get enough of him.

    Over the last few weeks, Dulari reached out to her ‘behens’ from all across the country through her social media handle ‘RamKiDulari’, asking them to share interesting ‘nuskhe’ to safeguard her husband. It steadily gained momentum with several mommy communities like UNIMO & their different city-wise FB pages, Grihshobha, Mommies world & specific Delhi-based women’s communities sharing nuskhe for Dulari and in no time, it garnered 2.2 Million views including Instagram & FB with a reach of ~5Mn via RVCJ platform. Within just a couple of hours of Dulari posting her plea for nuskhe from married women, her freshly opened account saw an upsurge of followers growing on Instagram. Looking at the virality of this video, Zee TV’s social media handle decided to take it to the next level by announcing a contest asking women to contribute their pearls of womanly wisdom aka nuskhas using the #SunBehen.  For participants’ convenience, a WhatsApp number was floated to receive entries and the winners stood to win vouchers worth Rs 1000. Soon, ‘Sun Behen’ memes started flowing in inspired by the nuskhas suggested by participants of Zee TV’s contest and the channel’s official handle put out the funniest ones as a part of a hilarious #Sunbehen meme series that saw huge engagement spikes.

    Not only married women across the country, but also mega celebrities like ace comedienne Bharti Singh, Maharashtra chi shaan Amruta Khanvilkar and famous in the UP heartland, Amrapali Dubey shared their special nuskhes. With Zee TV’s social media handles inundated with quirky, juicy nuskhas from all over, the channel compiled them all into a quirky ‘Book of Nuskhe’ and launched it virtually on the occasion of the show’s premiere.

    During the book launch, director and producer Sachin Mohite thanked the ‘behens’ for having shown up in large numbers to support Dulari.  So, as Dulari tries her hand at some hilarious nuskhe from this quirky book to protect her husband in Ram Pyaare Sirf Hamare, time to grab your own copy?     How many times have we heard this famous saying – ‘Behind every successful man there stands a woman?’ Well, breaking the stereotypes and changing all our beliefs, Star Bharat is all set to present its new fiction offering ‘Gupta Brothers Chaar Kunware from Ganga Kinaare’ showcasing the story of self-reliant brothers who are enjoying their bachelorhood  and do not feel the need to get married. The show a slice of life dramedy will mark the comeback of the talented actor Hiten Tejwani in a brand new avatar. He will be seen essaying the character of Television’s most eligible bachelor Shiv Gupta.     Cricbuzz see significant consumption spike in IPL 2020, overshadows other cricket apps

    IPL 2020, one of the most awaited events finally started on 19th September 2020 in the UAE. This year's IPL came as a respite to eager fans who have had to await a long absence of cricket. BCCI secretary Jay Shah, on Twitter, shared that 20-crore people watched the opening match of IPL 2020. 

    Indian cricket news website and mobile app, Cricbuzz, also saw a significant jump in users and traffic. The initial week of the IPL season saw a 15% growth in DAUs and a massive 115% increase in video views on Cricbuzz. Over 80 million users used Cricbuzz in the first 10 days of this IPL season. The most exciting match of the season was Royal Challengers Bangalore versus Mumbai Indians, where MI pushed the contest against RCB to a Super Over – Cricbuzz witnessed 20% higher consumption than the average consumption of first 10 matches of IPL 2020. This recent spike has further consolidated Cricbuzz’s position at the summit of top cricket apps

    On the occasion of Dance Day (September 19), ZEE Biskope presented fans with a unique dancing treat in the form of its recently-curated engagement drive – Kamariya Kare Hip Hop. Taking the channel experience far beyond the realm of their blockbuster movies, the initiative, a category first, reached out to audiences located even in the most interior of regions. The channel launched a rap version of their brand song composed by 5 Tricks – a rap group from Bihar. Viewers were invited to perform on the rap song and share their videos with the brand through their Whatsapp number. Encouraging people to put their best foot forward, show their passion for dance and shake a leg, the immense appeal of Kamariya Kare Hip Hop saw it receive a terrific tally of more than 42,000 responses. This humungous response has a milestone moment in the channel’s legacy yet again.

    Four films in various stages of completion in the last four months of the pandemic. Sounds like a tall order, but this is exactly what one new-age production house has gone ahead and done. 

    The unexpected onset of a global pandemic notwithstanding, Yoodlee Films has moved into the next gear, by completing four feature films, in the last few months. COVID-19 has pushed the Indian film industry to rethink production logistics, on-set protocol, safety regulations for cast and crew, and challenged conventional distribution, publicity, and release methodologies. In the midst of this, Yoodlee Films has defied all odds and has successfully managed to complete the shooting of two feature films simultaneously, with all directives and measures in place.  Alongside they have also wrapped up the post-production work on two other films, which are now being readied for release.

    Known for films that traverse a wide spectrum of topics and genres, Yoodlee Films immediately sprung into action as soon as the Unlock guidelines for shooting films were announced.  Two major feature films –  a Hindi romantic comedy involving a stand-up comic duo, called  'Comedy Couple' and Marathi cinema’s first horror-comedy featuring Zombies –  'Zombivali’,  started shoot immediately after the lockdown was lifted and completed the same in the next couple of months. Apart from this, two other features – 'Agra' and 'Bahut Hua Samman’ have sped into various stages of post-production and were readied for release, making Yoodlee Films the only production house to continue to be this prolific through the pandemic.  Its also to be noted that during the lockdown,  Yoodlee released the critically acclaimed 'Axone' and the crowd favorite 'Chaman Bahaar' on Netflix.

    'Agra' stars an ensemble cast headed by Rahul Roy who makes a comeback, along with Priyanka Bose, Mohit Agarwal, Ruhani Sharma, Vibha Chibber, Sonal Jha, and Aanchal Goswami. It explores confined spaces and suppressed sexuality in small towns and promises to start a conversation around taboo subjects. Agra which is being touted as a festival favorite is directed by Kanu Behl,  whose 2015 debut ‘Titli’ won much critical acclaim.

    'Bahut Hua Samman' stars Raghav Junyal, Sanjay Mishra, Nidhi Singh, and Ram Kapoor among others.  The film tweaks the idea of a heist caper and follows two students as they ideate to pull off a fool-proof robbery. Directed by Ashish Shukla and the film is set to launch on Disney+ Hotstar VIP on 2nd October 2020.

    'Comedy Couple' – starring Saqib Salim and Shweta Basu Prasad and directed by Nachiket Samant,  is an insightful look into the lives of two stand-up comics in the metro and is being touted as ‘com-rom’. The Film will premiere on Zee 5 Premium on the 21st of October. 

    'Zombivali,' is a unique Marathi horror comedy, featuring zombies for the first time,  is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and stars popular actors Amey Wagh, Lalit Prabhakar, and Vaidehi Parshuram.

Launching the #HaveYouFollowed series, Twitter will be putting the spotlight on director AratiKadav (@AratiKadav), whose debut feature, the sci-fi film Cargo, has been appreciated by cinema lovers across the country. The initiative will also feature a Tweet chat between Arati and noted filmmaker VikramadityaMotwane (@VikramMotwane), the Executive Producer of Cargo and Arati’s mentor, on her journey, voice and future goals as a filmmaker.

    POWER AT THE HEART

    At the heart of H’ness – CB350 is the big powerful 350cc, air cooled 4 stroke OHC single-cylinder engine equipped with PGM-FI technology. It delivers a category leading max torque of 30 Nm@3000 rpm which make it an easy going versatile motorcycle be it for daily city commute or longer weekend rides.  The evolved sensors, developed through computer simulations, makes it a machine that fully respects the riders wish delivering them an ultimate sense of comfort and controllability.

    Main shaft coaxial balancer placed on the cylinder eliminates both primary & secondary vibrations, making H’ness – CB350 a perfect companion for longer rides, offering a highly attractive engine feel that transmits throbs from the long-stroke engine.

    H’ness – CB350 comes with a large tailpipe of 45mm that optimizes balance with the muffler capacity, producing a bold low-pitched sound. A single one-chamber structure in the expansion chamber helps deliver a rich thumping exhaust note when you wind on the throttle. Exhaust pipes are double skinned to prevent heat discoloration and intact the visual appeal for long.

    The engine uses offset cylinder position that reduces the sliding friction and asymmetrical connecting rod ensures minimum energy loss while combustion. It uses closed crankcase with a wall between crankcase and transmission reducing energy loss due to internal friction.

    The air cooling system maintains highly dense air intake to improve efficiency and ensures favorable combustion in all rpm ranges by keeping the engine temperature within ideal range. The piston cooling jet improves engines thermal efficiency, leading to an improved fuel efficiency.

    Segment First Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) helps in maintaining rear wheel traction by detecting difference between front and rear wheel speeds, calculating the slip ratio and further controlling engine torque via the fuel injection. HSTC can be turned ON/OFF using a switch on the left side of meter. A ‘T’ indicator in the digital display flickers when the system is engaging.

    Segment First Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS)* allows riders to remain in touch with the world while enjoying the exciting riding experience on H’ness – CB350. To deepen connect of the riders, DLX Pro variant is equipped with the world's first-ever Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS) developed in-house. Rider can connect his smartphone with the motorcycle via Bluetooth through HSVCS application. Once connected, rider can operate the system with controls on the left side of the handle bar to use distinct features such as phone calls, navigation, music playback and incoming messages.     Segment First Assist and Slipper Clutch makes the gear shifts smoother while reducing clutch lever operation load ensuring less fatigue and more comfort during a rides that involve frequent shifting. 

    The heritage inspired Segment First Advanced Digital – Analogue Speedometer presents intelligent information on the go. It integrates details like HSTC, ABS, side stand indicator with engine inhibitor, ECO indicator, mileage features, HSVCS, gear position indicator and battery voltage meter.     A highly rigid box-section steel tube is used for the swing arm to effectively reduce distortion and transmit torque of the driving force to road surface improving overall comfortable riding feel.

    “The Colour of Loss” directed by Mohit Takalkar and translated by Deborah Smith is ready to premiere with Front & Centre, Paytm Insider’s theatre initiative. Front & Centre aims to bring home the taste of theatre through digital experiences. The story highlights a complex mixture of pain, loss, despair, compassion, love, empathy, and forgiveness.

    “The Colour of Loss” will premiere online on 2nd October. Tickets starting from Rs. 300 are available on Paytm Insider.

    “The Colour of Loss” highlights what it means to remember someone who is no more. The play, originally written by the Booker prize winner Han Kang is a story of finding beauty in loss. The author reminisces with her sister through the lens of all things white – breast milk, swaddling bands, the baby’s rice cake-coloured skin, white dog, and sugar cubes.

    The play is performed by the talented cast of Mrinmayee Godbole, Ipshita, Manasi Bhawalkar, and Dipti Mahadev as a part of the contemporary theatre group – Aasakta. “The Colour of Loss” is shot at THE BOX brought together by Ashish Mehta (production design), Saurabh Bhalerao (music), Vikrant Thakar (lighting design), Rashmi Rode (makeup), Hrishikesh Pujari and Suyog Deshpande (assistant direction), Ganesh Phuke (sound recordist), Nachiket Pendase (camera), and team TCOL, among others.
