Prior to this, he worked for The Walt Disney Company in various marketing roles and most recently was responsible for content partnerships at YouTube / Google.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie presents a classic love triangle, narrated with a fresh perspective where the characters are perpetually oscillating between confusingly complex emotions. Zee Cinema is set to air the cinematic blockbuster ‘Manmarziyaan’ on Saturday, 13th July at 6 pm. 

    Vicky Kaushal who plays Vicky Sandhu said,“Manmarziyaan is been one of the most liberating experiences for me as an actor. I believe the character Vicky Sandhu to be my alter ego and to completely surrender to that character and to the world of Anurag Kashyap was one of the most learning experiences for me. It was the first time I was collaborating with Taapsee and Abhishek and had a blast shooting with them.”

    Essaying the role of Rumi, Taapsee Pannu said“When Kanika was narrating the script to me, I felt there was no challenge in portraying the character of Rumi. I’m a black or white person in real life, but this character is confused and indecisive. So, I couldn’t relate to her. Then, she said something which was the reason I took up the film. She told me, ‘Had it not been for that patch, it would have been a cakewalk for you.’ That became the selling point for me.”

    Commenting on his character – Robbie, Abhishek Bachchan said, “I feel every actor brings a lot of himself or herself to a character and, also takes a lot back. There are several shades of me in Robbie and there are things about Robbie that I would love to emulate.”

    Zee Cinema with its new brand philosophy ‘Seene Mein Cinema’ enliven characters like Rumi, Vicky & Robbie, whose jazba to love hard, fuels their ‘live to love, love to live’ spirit! Set-in small-town Amritsar, the plotline follows the life of Rumi (Taapsee Pannu), a wholehearted unapologetic girl who is crazy in love with Vicky (Vicky Kaushal), a typical Punjabi munda. The movie gains momentum when on one occasion Rumi is caught red handed by her family and is pressurized to get married. 

    Vicky on the other hand, develops cold feet, and constantly avoids Rumi's request to bring his parents over and ask her hand in marriage. Fed up, Rumi gives up on Vicky and agrees to an arranged marriage. Enters Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan), a warm and genuine man, who effortlessly swoops Rumi off her feet. After a brief courtship, the blooming love birds get married. Things however take a turn when Robbie finds out that Rumi cheats on him with Vicky. Will Rumi leave Robbie for Vicky, or find her way back into Robbie’s heart? 

    Capturing the emotions of the film, are the songs by Amit Trivedi. Manmarziyaan’s 14-song music album is rooted in Punjabi music with Dhyaanchand, Halla, Daryaa and Sacchi Mohabbat being the highlights of the film.

    MUMBAI: NeoNiche Integrated Solutions Pvt. Ltd., recently organised the fourth edition of the AWS Summit Mumbai 2019 using a blend of technology and designed experiences to captivate audience attention. The event was conceptualised, designed, and organised end-to-end by NeoNiche, right from capturing the audience to on-site production, communication and technical solutions. With as many as 16,733 registrants and 6,500+ unique attendees, this was India's largest IT user event of all time, which was both technologically powered and environmentally conscious.

    Their aim was to increase attention while preventing the massive noise pollution that often accompanies such events which led to a series of ‘Silent Conferences’ that witnessed attendees connected on a conference communication channel via Bluetooth headsets. This enabled the audience to individually hear the speakers and take part in the activities without loudspeakers in place, thus eliminating the noise quotient while simultaneously giving attendees to have an immersive experiences.

    Furthermore, this was the first time that a proprietary QR code registration system developed by NeoNiche was used for the quick registration of all attendees. By using the tool, approximately 6,000 attendees were registered and allocated their places at the venue, in a record time of 1 hour 15 minutes.

    The AWS Expo included a total of 7 zones including Partner showcase, Builders Fair, Tech & Lightning Talk, AWS Booth, Social Media, EBC, and Start up Central. A range of technology solutions were incorporated including Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), for attendees to visit the expo, as well as interact and participate in the multitude of activities. For the event, a circular Keynote stage, equipped with 8 large hanging LED screens visible from even the farthest corners of the venue, was used to help create an immersive experience for all the attendees. The spatial design helped ensure that all the sponsors received prominent and adequate visibility.

    As a result, the AWS Summit Mumbai 2019 attracted 306 CXOs from 204 unique companies, and saw 2,533 social mentions posted by 936 unique authors, leading to a potential audience of 2,513,053 people. The event was also noteworthy for welcoming 52 customer speakers, the highest number of such speakers at an IT event in India, who shared their experiences with the audience at the keynote, breakouts, and ancillary events.

    This year's AWS Summit was designed specifically for technology and business leaders, developers, and IT professionals, covering a variety of subjects and levels of expertise, such as an introduction to the AWS Cloud as well as architecture best practices and cloud adoption frameworks. Several prominent business leaders featured among the attendees, including Conor McNamara (Director, Business Development, APAC, Amazon Web Services), Venkatesh Natarajan (Senior Vice President – Information Technology, Ashok Leyland), Sanjay Mohan (Group CTO, Make My Trip), Suhas Devaraju (CIO – Hindustan Unilever & Head of IT, South Asia at Unilever), Arun Kumar Parameshwaran (Managing Director – India & SAARC, Vmware), Prateek Garg (Chief Executive Officer, Progressive Infotech) and Varoon D. Rajani (Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Blazeclan Technologies). It also featured several new platforms such as Innovation Day, and focused on the key role that AI, machine learning, and robotics, are playing in transforming the world today.

Love and friendship are the most cherished relationship, but ever wondered what happens when you are obligated to choose between the two most prized possessions of your life?  Tracing the journey of three individuals Azaan, Shayra and Noor entangled in a web of love, revenge and penance will be COLORS new fiction drama, Bahu Begum. As destiny forces them to stay together in a holy matrimony, Azaan’s one decision wreaks havoc and turn their lives upside down. Produced by LSD Films, the show features Arjit Taneja as Azaan Ali Khan, Sameeksha Jaiswal as Noor, Diana Khan as Shayra Anwar, and Simone Singh as Begum Raziya. The show will premiere on Monday, 15th July and air every Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm, only on COLORS.

    Arjit Taneja who plays Azaan said: “I feel elated to be a part of a show that exhibits a culture which is so enigmatic and royal. This role certainly has been a learning experience as well as I had to work on my mannerisms and diction to get the accuracy.  Azaan’s character endures a deep wound of abandonment and rejection and that will lead him to make a decision that will turn his life upside down.”

    Diana Khan portraying Shayra’s character commented, “This is my first television outing with COLORS and I am really grateful to be working with such experienced cast. Shayra is a girl who is well-educated, a modern woman with fierce emotions. She falls head over heels in love with Azaan but fate shatters all her dreams and brings many complexities in her life.”

    Sameeksha Jaiswal who plays Noor expressed, “It’s great to be associated with COLORS. This is the first time that I will be essaying an Islamic character. I am elated to play Noor, a girl who is full of life. For Noor, her best friend Azaan means everything and can go to any extent to see her best friend Azaan happy. Noor’s character is very similar to how I am in real life; chirpy, outspoken and I thoroughly enjoyed essaying it.”

    Set against the ostentatious backdrop of Bhopal, the show beautifully depicts the royal Islamic vignette, culture, and meaningful symbolic rituals surrounding marriage. Begum Raziya is the matriarchal head of the most prestigious family of the city who has created her own dynasty by being at the forefront of politics and public life. A holder of the Bahu Begum title, she is respected and revered by everyone. Although Raziya very rarely displays her emotions, she immensely loves her son Azaan and her world revolves around him. On hearing about her son’s return from London, she gets thrilled and gears up to share the big news of getting his marriage fixed to his childhood friend. While Azaan always cherished his friendship with her, Noor always dreamt of becoming his begum.  But as destiny would have it, Azaan returns home with the love of his life Shayra.

    As Azaan gets torn between the rules of love and friendship circumstances, what will he eventually choose? Leaving the viewers with this thought, the show will definitely keep the viewers intrigued. Bahu Begum brings together a stellar cast of well-established actors whose strong portrayal of characters makes the show an enthralling proposition for viewers.     MUMBAI: Globecast, the global technical solutions provider for media, has announced that Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.), owners and organisers of multiple globally renowned sports events, has selected Content Marketplace, part of Globecast’s Digital Media Hub, for clipped content sharing. 

    A.S.O. organises 210 days of competition per year, with 90 events in 25 countries. Content is shared with A.S.O. customers including television channels, the wider media and also A.S.O for internal use.

    Digital Media Hub is Globecast’s suite of services for sport and live events. Facilitating cross-platform live content publishing as well as VOD content creation and distribution – using the Content Marketplace module – it significantly increases content monetisation opportunities in what are highly competitive markets.  

    Having trialled a version of Content Marketplace at last year’s Rally Dakar, A.S.O has signed a multi-year agreement to use the media management and content sharing platform across multiple events. Via a specially designed website, content is transcoded to multiple formats and then clipped. File data can then be associated with the video: for example, scripts, cue sheets or a press kit. Access and rights management is also handled, via a simple user interface, with download and viewing statistics available.
