    MUMBAI: Carrier Midea India’s home appliances brand Midea has come on-board as the official home appliances partner for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for season eight of the Indian Premier League (IPL). 

     

    Carrier Midea India managing director Krishan Sachdev presented the team with a good luck charm on the eve of their first match of the eighth season.

    Tata Motors Prima is the official title sponsor for IPL season 8.     MUMBAI: Gearing up for the Indian Premier League (IPL), direct to home (DTH) operator Dish TV India has extended its association with Kolkata Knight Riders as an official partner for the fourth time. This year’s tournament will start on 8 April 2015. As part of the association, the logo of Dish TV will be prominently featured on the non lead arm of the jersey of KKR players.

    DishTV COO Salil Kapoor said, “Through this association, we would like to pull entertainment a notch higher for all cricket fans. We look forward to the tournament and hope that Kolkata Knight Riders emerges as a champion in this season of IPL as well.”

    MUMBAI: Indian automobile company Tata Motors’ Tata Bolt has hopped on board as the principal sponsor of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) eighth season, which starts from 8 April 2015

    Tata Bolt will occupy the leading arm position on RCB’s playing jersey. This association will extend the brand’s existing relationship, which was established during IPL 2014.

     

    Tata Motors and RCB will shortly launch campaigns to promote this association and roll-out joint initiatives across mediums to engage their customers and RCB fans across India.

    MUMBAI: The cricketing season is on and in the midst of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 fever, Tata Motors Prima has announced that it will be the title sponsor for Kings XI Punjab in the soon to begin Indian Premier League (IPL) season eight.

    The announcement is an extension of the brands partnership with the team from the last season, where it was the associate sponsor. HTC is the associate sponsor for the franchise, for this season.

    Speaking to indiantelevision.com on the reason for the extension, Tata Motors executive director commercial vehicles Ravi Pisharody said, “Firstly there is a natural connect with cricket as our target audience is male. Secondly, the transport community in Punjab is a big chunk of our customers.”

    Reasoning further he said, “If you see, the colour of the truck and the teams jersey is the same i.e bright red.”

    Kings XI Punjab co-promoter and director Mohit Burman said that the coming together of the two testified the brands faith in the franchise. Burman stated that the team’s performance both on and off the field would prove to be beneficial for the brand. Kings XI Punjab had made it to the finals in the last season of IPL, where it lost to Kolkata Knight Riders.

    Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta feels that the brand acted as a lucky charm for the team which saw them moving towards the finals in the last season.

    At an event held in Mumbai, the Kings XI Punjab jersey was also unveiled.

    The team will play its first match on 8 April 2015 against Rajasthan Royals at MCA International stadium, Pune.

    MUMBAI: Yepme will be the West Indies team sponsor for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand.

     

    The announcement was made by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB).
