    Mahindra Group names Pramuch Goel as VP & head – group comms

    Mumbai: Multinational business conglomerate Mahindra Group on Wednesday announced that it has elevated Pramuch Goel as VP and head – group communications, with immediate effect. He will report to Mahindra Group’s chief customer and brand officer and member of the group executive board Asha Kharga,

    In his previous role, Goel was a strategic communications head for auto and farm sectors. He takes over from Varsha Chainani, who has decided to pursue opportunities outside of the Mahindra Group. “The group communications team and communications heads of businesses will report to Goel,” said the company.

    “Pramuch is an accomplished brand and communications leader who has been part of the Mahindra Group for several years, working and contributing to various businesses. At Mahindra, it has always been our endeavor to nurture and promote talent and I am very pleased to see him grow and further his career with us,” said Asha Kharga. “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Varsha Chainani for her contribution to the Mahindra Group and wish her the best for her future endeavors,” she added.

    Goel has been with the Mahindra Group for over five years and has previously worked for sectors including Mahindra Lifespaces, Mahindra Holidays and Mahindra Partners. He was also responsible for the IPO communications of Mahindra Logistics. 

    He has 25 years of experience in brand and communications function and has worked with top global companies including Samsung Electronics, Cisco Systems, and IBM.

    Mumbai: Ed-tech major Byju’s has announced the appointment of Prathyusha Agarwal as chief business officer to lead the Early Learn Business vertical.

    In this role, Agarwal will focus on charting the Early Learn portfolio strategy, define, design and deliver the holistic learning consumer offering and drive top-line growth for the business vertical. Early Learn aims to offer personalised and interactive learning programs across digital, physical and live classes for kids aged between four–eight years.  

    On the leadership appointment, Byju’s chief operating officer Mrinal Mohit said, “We are delighted to have Prathyusha onboard with us to lead the Early Learn Business at Byju’s. She has worked with notable brands for over 20 years and holds a wide experience across businesses and sectors.     Byju’s aims to grow the early learn category to become the market leader in coming years, stated the ed-tech major. Through partnerships and acquisitions such as Osmo, Epic, and WhiteHat Jr, among others, the brand’s early learn category offerings have expanded to include ‘phygital’ learning – a seamless blend of online and offline, collaborative learning, digital reading, gamified approaches to lessons, etc to further accelerate and transform learning for young learners.

    Agarwal’s appointment comes at a time when the firm is gearing up to take these multiple offerings as a holistic learning proposition for Early Learners in the fast-growing Indian market.

In her 21+ year career, she has launched Tata’s e-commerce venture TataCLiQ as the head of marketing, worked with HDFC Life as the VP, marketing and analytics and led brand strategy for the Star TV network. She was also the founder director of ‘All OK Tech Support’, worked with Market Gate Consulting and honed marketing skills at HUL in different sales and marketing roles. She is a post-graduate from IIM Ahmedabad, with her graduation in electrical engineering from IIT Madras.

    Mumbai: Global SaaS platform provider FarEye has announced the appointment of Judd Marcello as chief marketing officer (CMO), based in the United States. The news comes soon after the announcement of Chicago as FarEye’s North America headquarters and the movement of its CEO Kushal Nahata to North America.

    In this newly created role, Marcello will lead all facets of marketing to drive brand awareness and growth in key global regions, including the Americas, said the statement.

    Mumbai: Integrated marketing agency Grapes has elevated Shradha Agarwal to the position of chief executive officer. She takes the baton from Himanshu Arya, who will move to a more strategic role within Grapes. 

    Agarwal’s role will be instrumental in leading and expanding the business for the company while overseeing the overall operations, across the agency’s three offices in India – Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, said the company in a statement. 

    She will be based out of the agency’s headquarter in Delhi and will manage the overall business and operations of the company, it added.

    Mumbai: Market research company Ipsos India has announced the onboarding of Garima Mall and Pooja Doshi as executive directors, effective immediately. The duo will report to Ipsos India MD – research Vivek Gupta.    

    Mall moves from Kantar and has earlier worked with Nielsen and GFK Mode. Her professional experience of 16 years has primarily covered different categories in the consumer and shopper domain. At Ipsos, her remit includes servicing market strategy and understanding (MSU) and brand health tracking (BHT) clients in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

    Doshi was last associated with NielsenIQ, where she served as director-commercial lead. She has largely led innovation research, leveraging consumer insights and analytics, helping clients build their brand portfolios. At Ipsos, her mandate includes servicing key CPG accounts and driving business development.

    Mumbai: Independent creative agency Enormous has brought Shashwat Manohar on board as vice president and head of its digital arm. Based out of the agency’s Gurgaon office, Manohar will work closely with Enormous managing partner Ashish Khazanchi.

    “In this role, Manohar will be in charge of the agency’s full-service digital offerings. He will oversee the agency’s expansion and provide essential digital solutions to existing and new clients in comms and performance,” said the company in a statement.

    Previously, Manohar was associated with FoxyMoron as business director (North). He began his career with AdGlobal360 in Gurgaon before moving on to Wunderman as business director and subsequently Wunderman Thompson’s Network as VP and CSD for the next eight years.
