    Mumbai: With talents across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and now London, UK, Schbang continues to strengthen its senior leadership. The company ropes in Jennifer Chhor as vice president of integrated solutions. She will help grow the digital media and marketing business at Schbang’s headquarters in Mumbai.

    Chhor joins from Tata Consumer Products, where she was the associate director of digital media and marketing. She led digital media and social marketing across all business units at Tata Consumer Products and worked on Tata Tea’s debut in the metaverse.

    She brings over 11 years of experience in the digital marketing industry, having worked with brands like Maybelline New York, Ariel, Godrej Aer, Cadbury Bournvita, and BBlunt.

    Previously, Chhor was leading marketing and media at Godrej Consumer Products Ltd where she led the digital business for brands across the African continent along with other brands in the Indian portfolio. She also handled the e-commerce business for BBLUNT with multiple channels, like Nykaa and Amazon, and set up direct-to-consumer (D2C) as well.

    At Schbang, Chhor will be reporting to Schbang co-founder and CEO Akshay Gurnani. She will focus on growing the digital media and marketing business at the Mumbai headquarters while setting up a stronger base in the personal care and beauty sector for the company.

    Hinduja Global Solutions inducts Vynsley Fernandes on the board

    Mumbai: Vynsley Fernandes has been inducted as an additional director on the board of Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd. (HGSL) in line with the transfer of the media & communications business from NxtDigital Ltd. (NDL) to HGSL.

    He will continue as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the media & communications division at HGSL, including the portfolio ranging from digital television via satellite (HITS) and cable to broadband, content syndication, and teleshopping.

    Whole-time director and chief financial officer Amar Chintopanth will continue to lead the top management of NDL under the able guidance and leadership of the board of directors.

    Following receipt of the final sanction and approval from NCLT, the media & communications business undertaking of NxtDigital Ltd. (NDL), including the assets and liabilities together with the subsidiaries, was transferred to Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd. (HGSL).

    As a result, he has resigned from his role and board position at NxtDigital Ltd.

    The new NDL will focus on the next phase of reorganisation with the intention of maximising the value of its shareholders, taking the necessary regulatory and other preparatory actions.

Following a brief stint with the Hindustan Times Group, Debabrata joined United Breweries, where he was in charge of developing a broad-based, winning portfolio and fostering strong consumer centricity.

    EAL has recently forayed into the spice and soy nugget markets and sees immense potential for expansion in both the edible oil and food sectors with the right products.

    Awathi’s appointment was made public through a LinkedIn post that the company put up, congratulating her on her new role.

    Prior to this, Awasthi was chief marketing officer at Godrej Consumer Products; she joined the company in 2007.

    She has a total of about two decades of experience in the consumer products and FMCG industries.

Since then, Fantico has also ventured into custom metaverse experiences and games.

    Nic Watt has spent more than 20 years working in the video game and blockchain industries. He joined Fantico to focus on his top-level vision for the company’s product direction, people, and technology.

    Prior to this, Watt held positions at Immutable as head of product & innovation, at Riot Games as lead user experience designer, and formed Nnooo, a video games startup.

    Mumbai: After spending 21 years at the agency, Wunderman Thompson South Asia regional creative director Tista Sen has called it a day. Her next destination remains unknown as of now.

    Talking to Indiantelevision, Sen says, “It feels like I’m leaving my home because WT has always been a home, a comfort place for me. I just thought it is time for me to get out of my comfort zone and do something different.”

    Commenting on her leave, a spokesperson from Wunderman Thompson said, “Sen now wants to embark on a new career journey that takes her away from WT India that has been home to her for the past 22 years. We wish her all the best in her next adventure.”

    Sen started her career with Whitelight Productions, one of India’s leading ad film production companies, after which she joined Lowe Lintas as a writer. Five years down the line, she moved to Ogilvy for a brief stint and returned to Lowe Lintas. In 2001, Sen joined Wunderman Thompson (previously J Walter Thompson) and had been there ever since.

    She has assisted on over 60 commercials, and has worked on brands such as Johnson’s Baby, Stayfree, Cadbury Eclairs, Cadbury Five Star, Oberoi Hotels, Asian Paints, Sunlight, Comfort, Cadbury’s Dairy Milk, Fair & Lovely and Pepsodent for Unilever. In her most recent role, her portfolio included GlaxoSmithKline, ITC, Unilever, Godrej, and many other brands.

    Sen has been ranked among the 20 most creative people in Asia, and has worked on campaigns that have won numerous metals across the world including at Cannes, Clio and Spikes Asia. Her recent wins include a gold, silver, bronze, finalist at AdFest; gold, finalists & merit awards at One Show; gold, finalist at Cannes, gold at Clio; Grand Prix, gold, silver at Spikes Asia, etc. The campaigns that are close to her heart include sunsilkgangofgirls.com, campaigns for Aditya Birla Financial and the Lux Abhi-Ash commercial.

    The Mumbai office of Wunderman Thompson (the erstwhile J Walter Thompson) has won over 40 metals at Goafest 2014 and 57 in 2015 including the Grand Prix under her creative leadership. Over the years she has sat on the jury of several advertising festivals in India and abroad, including Cannes and D&AD. In 2015, she had the pleasure of being the only Asian on the inaugural Glass Jury at Cannes, which honours gender diversity in communication.
