    MUMBAI: Tata Consultancy Services, a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, has been named as the ‘2016 Digital Innovator of the Year’ in the Ecosystem Excellence award category at GE’s Minds+ Machines event in San Francisco, California.

    The award recognizes TCS’ innovation and excellence in developing the TCS Digital Store™,an expanding suite of ready-to-use digital solutions that deliver superior customer experience, real time data analytics and organizational agility across multiple industry segments. The TCS Digital Store™ contains more than 150 solutions, including TCS Plant Operations for real time analytics in a manufacturing plant, Environmental Health and Safety Analytics for industrial facilities, Plant Equipment Prognostic Maintenance, and Engine Telematics for tracking and logistics. More than 50 of these solutions are built on Predix.

    MUMBAI: Integrated communications agency, Jack in the Box Worldwide, has strengthened its creative offering with the appointment of Abinandan Bose as the creative director. Bose will manage and oversee the copy, design and social media teams, and will report to the soon to be announced president of Jack in the Box Worldwide.

    Bose brings with him almost 12 years of rich experience from his previous stints at JWT, MRM//McCann and Adfactors PR. Over the years, he has been instrumental in conceptualizing and delivering on creative mandates for brands such as AEGON Religare, Reid & Taylor, Zoom TV, Smirnoff, ITC, Taj Luxury, SBI, and Goa Tourism to name a few.

    MUMBAI: Merino Group has awarded its brand strategy & creative mandate to FCB Ulka Delhi, following a multi-agency pitch. The mandate involves work for Merino Laminates, Merino Furniture, and their FMCG food brand Vegit. The mandate includes ATL, BTL & digital.

    Merino Laminates is a popular brand in the laminate segment and leading manufacturer and exporter of decorative laminates for interiors. Vegit, a subsidiary, features in the Ready-to-Cook category. Merino spokesperson said, “Merino will endeavour to bring resident knowledge of the trade obtained over years, & its application into all facets of Business Activity.”

    FCB India group chairman and CEO Rohit Ohri said, “FCB’s new creative mantra – First Create Behaviour, and our new planning protocol – Brand Bedrock, debuted at this pitch.     MUMBAI:  Madison BMB has conceptualized the new TVC for Amul Bodywarmer. The TVC features a young north Indian couple, at home dealing with the harsh winters.

    Apart from the TVC,  Amul Bodywarmer will also reach out to its consumers via outdoor, print and various other points of contact.

    J.G. Hosiery director Nayinn Seksaria said, “In a world where exaggeration is a suspension of disbelief, we wanted to keep away from the exaggeration and follow the keeping it simple theory. We wanted to communicate the multiple aspects of warmth & unisex garment delivered through sweet & humorous story, which has been achieved.”

    The film ends with the tagline, Raho garmagaram. The catchy soundtrack leaves you humming it for the rest of the day. 

    Madison BMB CEO Raj Nair added, “Amul Innerwear and Bodywarmers have historically had a legacy of creating clutter breaking work. We told ourselves that the work needs to be fresh, simple in ideation and yet totally stand-out in execution. We believe that we have achieved that.
