    Mumbai: Tapping into Gen Z’s late-night shopping habits, Flipkart launched the ‘After Dark #IYKYFK’ (If You Know You Flipkart) sale ahead of the big billion days sale. The campaign featured glow-in-the-dark billboards near popular spots, like Mumbai’s Carter Road and Delhi’s Cyber Hub, visible only at night with QR codes for exclusive access. Audible billboards were also placed at these hotspots, while engagement was driven through X, Instagram, push notifications, and dating apps.

    MUMBAI: Netherlands-based Indian origin beauty entrepreneur Diipa Büller-Khosla  has two reasons to be pleased as punch.

    The first: her three year old brand indē wild, has recently entered into a ground-breaking global partnership with Sephora, the world’s leading prestige beauty retailer. This collaboration marks a historic moment for Indian beauty brands, as indē wild is the first to feature Ayurveda as its core ethos. The partnership will bring Khosla’s innovative and sustainable skincare products to a global audience.

    The second reason for the broad smile on her face:  Büller-Khosla, according to a press release, was the only Indian celebrity invited to Dior’s Spring/Summer 2025 women’s ready-to-wear showcase at the prestigious 50th anniversary of Paris Fashion Week.

    “This exclusive invitation underscores her immense social media popularity, her ability to connect with audiences worldwide, and her profound impact on the fashion industry as a key opinion leader,” says the release.

    Büller-Khosla expresses her excitement and gratitude for Dior’s invitation and states, “This invitation is a testament to the growing influence of Indian talent on the global fashion stage.     Büller-Khosla journey to global recognition began in 2017 when she became the face of Maybelline and had her billboard on Piccadilly circus, London. Since then, she has consistently made her mark at both Cannes and Venice Film Festivals, solidifying her position as a fixture in the international fashion scene.

    Today, Büller-Khosla, has 2.1 million followers on Instagram, among whom figure some big names from India including Masaba Gupta, Manish Malhotra,  Navya Nanda, Madhu Sapre, Suhana Khan, Ananya Pandey, and Prajakta Kohli. She spends her time travelling all over the world for magazine cover shoots and to promote her brand, when she is not at home with her Dutch diplomat husband Oleg Büller and her daughter Dua.

    Mumbai: The Indian Outdoor Advertising Association (IOAA) joined the global movement Essays for Peace in commemoration of UN International Peace Day. As a part of this initiative, a glowing candle symbolizing peace and unity was displayed on digital screens at midday across India for five minutes by digital out-of-home (OOH) partners, aligning with similar displays around the world. The image, free of words or logos, represented a universal call for hope and solidarity, resonating with the pressing need for peace in today’s world.

    In India, the initiative recorded widespread participation. A coalition of prominent OOH media companies, including Network Advertising, Wallop, Laqshya Media, Jagran Engage, AS Advertising, Roshan Space, Symbiosis, Alakh Advertising, Vyoma Technologies and Brands on Wheels, Pioneer Publicity united to bring the campaign to life.

    The combined network of the OOH media partners enabled the successful display of the candle in diverse locations, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hubli, Lucknow, Aligarh, Raipur, Noida, Secunderabad, and Goa. The seamless execution across such a wide geographical spread underscored the Indian OOH sector’s ability to mobilize quickly and effectively for initiatives of international significance.

    Globally, the action took place in several cities in New Zealand and concluded in Honolulu, Hawaii.

    IOAA’s involvement is part of its ongoing effort to align the Indian OOH industry with international standards through collaboration with the World Out of Home Organization (WOO), showcasing the sector’s capability to engage on the world stage.

    Roundglass Foundation launches #Goals2Trees campaign

    Mumbai: Roundglass Foundation, focused on environment and sustainability, runs The Billion Tree Project, aiming to plant one billion trees in India by 2035. To raise awareness among sportspersons and fans, the foundation has launched the campaign #Goals2Trees. From now until the end of 2025, it will plant 500 trees for every goal scored by Punjab FC and the Roundglass Hockey Team.

    Through its Billion Tree Project, Roundglass Foundation has already planted 2.6 million native trees, creating over 1,400 mini forests that have sequestered approximately 35,000 tons of carbon. The project supports biodiversity, reduces carbon footprints, and protects against environmental degradation. It also replenishes water tables, improves air quality, and generates sustainable livelihoods, creating over 13,000 jobs under the government’s MGNREGA scheme.

    Roundglass Foundation leader Vishal Chowla expressed his enthusiasm for this unique collaboration leveraging sports for environmental action. “We are delighted to partner with Punjab FC and Roundglass Hockey for this campaign, which harnesses the core values of team sports—community and teamwork—to tackle urgent environmental challenges,” he stated.

    “At Roundglass Foundation, we execute our work by engaging with communities and the public at large. This campaign is a great opportunity for sports and athlete communities to come forward and associate with us in creating real environmental impact on the ground,” said Chowla.

    Punjab FC’s technical director Nikolaos Topoliatis echoed this sentiment, and added, “Football is not just a sport; it’s a catalyst for social change around the world. I am thrilled that Punjab FC has the opportunity tocontribute to an environmental cause. This initiative will motivate our players to perform better.” Currently, Punjab FC is competing in the Indian Super League and recently defeated Kerala Blasters in their first game of the League.

    Roundglass Punjab Hockey Academy’s Sr. assistant technical lead Rajinder Singh, also welcomed the initiative and said, “Our teams are all raring to go and play extra hard for this noble cause.”
