    Mumbai: EKA Mobility, an electric vehicles & technology company (with Mitsui Co., Ltd. & VDL Group as equity partners), and GreenCell Mobility, a player in the electric mass mobility space, announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Under this collaboration, EKA Mobility will supply GreenCell Mobility with 1000 intercity electric buses in 12-meter and 13.5-meter categories, in the next few years. EKA Mobility and GreenCell Mobility are committed to working closely together to drive positive change in the global automobile sector by producing industry leading electric buses to transform public transportation.

    EKA Mobility shall be responsible for supply, sales, and service of these buses, along with delivering quality certification reports to ensure the highest standards in this collaborative endeavour. The supply of 1000 electric buses are expected to have a large and positive impact on our environment. The associated figures illustrate the potential benefits, estimating annual fuel cost savings of Rs 70 crores and the avoidance of 120 lakh gallons of diesel, which is equivalent to growing 15 lakh trees. Furthermore, an estimated 6 lakh individuals will benefit every day from an improved and sustainable public transit infrastructure. Overall, this initiative is expected to result in a projected saving of 32400 Tonnes of CO2 emissions, greatly contributing to the reduction of tailpipe emissions and building a cleaner, more sustainable future.

    This collaboration underscores major national and worldwide initiatives towards sustainability, recognizing the critical need for cleaner and more environmentally friendly transportation options. EKA Mobility and GreenCell Mobility’s collaborative initiatives represent an important step towards a greener India and a cleaner world.

    On new-age marketers addressing challenge –

    In my opinion, new-age marketers are addressing the challenge of mixed reactions to marketing campaigns by emphasizing personalised and interactive engagement with their target audience. They prioritize researching and identifying their specific target demographic and leverage innovative technologies like AI to enhance customer interaction. Through personalized content on social media and customized messaging, they aim to capture the audience’s attention and foster a stronger connection with the brand or business. This approach not only attracts customers but also contributes to the success of digital marketing campaigns.

    On idea and challenges behind starting consultancy –

    In 2015, my friends and I started RMT in Hyderabad with the purpose of assisting small and medium businesses in their growth journey through effective digital transformation. Recognising the widespread desire among businesses to leverage social media and digital platforms for customer outreach, we established RMT to provide creative and innovative solutions to those lacking the expertise or resources to navigate these channels.

    RMT was founded in response to a prevalent issue in the digital marketing industry: client’s dissatisfaction with inexperienced agencies and freelancers. These smaller outfits often lack depth in digital marketing, leading to subpar results and a misconception among clients that digital marketing isn’t effective for their business. This presents a challenge for RMT, as we invest heavily in quality talent and infrastructure and often need to re-educate clients about the true potential of digital marketing.

    Another challenge arises from clients and employees who overestimate their understanding of digital marketing. Clients often believe they understand the field because they use social media, influencing their expectations and opinions on strategies that may not align with their target audience. Similarly, many individuals claim expertise after completing short-term courses, lacking the depth gained from practical experience. At RMT, we prioritise practical skills and experience over theoretical knowledge, ensuring a team capable of delivering high-quality, effective digital marketing solutions.

    On using analytics for target audiences –

    Analytics plays a crucial role in understanding market segments and effectively reaching the target audience. At RMT, we focus on key parameters such as demographics, age, and gender to identify the specific target audience for a business. This information is essential for devising a tailored marketing campaign that aligns with the business needs, ensuring a consistent and successful strategy.

    To achieve this, we utilize various analytical tools. Website and app analytics provide insights into user demographics, interests, devices used, navigation patterns, and content engagement. This data optimization helps in creating a user-centric online presence.

    On balancing advertising campaign with quality –

    Absolutely, effective brand promotion of quality products plays a pivotal role in boosting sales. While having a quality product is essential, effectively showcasing its features, benefits, and unique value proposition through strategic brand promotion can significantly impact sales and customer engagement. Advertising helps in creating awareness and visibility for quality products. It allows brands to communicate their story, build credibility, and differentiate themselves from competitors. Through social media or other marketing channels, businesses can highlight the attributes that make their products stand out, thereby attracting potential customers and driving sales.

    RMT goal anticipation for the next 5 years –

    RMT navigated a landscape marked by economic uncertainties and a focus on profitability, leading to reduced media spending and a shift from traditional to digital marketing. This trend, driven by digital marketing’s targeted efficiency, provided RMT with the opportunity to on board new clients transitioning to digital channels.     On introducing yourself and your work as “The Habit Coach”

    My name is Ashdin Doctor and I started the Habit coaching industry about 8 years ago. At the time I had just gone through my own life-altering wellness journey. Which I cover in my book “Change Your Habits Change Your Life”. I was overweight, stressed and burnt out. Culminating in me collapsing on the floor, clutching my chest, at the age of 31. I swore never to be in that state again. I Changed my life by making small changes, instead of large ones that I had tried many times before and failed. This is where the idea of teaching people how to form habits was born. If people realise that the quality of their current lives is nothing but the quality of their current habits, they can change their lives easily!

    On the motivation to become a habit coach

    After people saw this transformation. They would ask me what I had done. How they could also lose a few kilos or get rid of their stress. And I would patiently tell them all the things I had done to achieve it. However, they would stop me after about 30 seconds and say, “Ashdin I do not have your motivation and self-discipline”. This was my aha moment, if people don’t think they can do it, they will not start! So when I started Habit Coaching my idea was a war on the word “Motivation”.

    On the first podcast that was turned into a book

    I host The Habit Coach Podcast. Which is one of India’s top podcasts and one of the oldest. We have over 1,200 episodes. Since most of the episodes are scripted, it was very easy to turn 31 scripts into a workbook style of book. The idea was that people could read the chapters and then write them down and begin to implement the change suggested in the chapter. This format has worked very well for us. The book is called “One Habit A Day” and we are getting great feedback for it.

    On elaborating on the issues you’ve encountered and any solutions you’ve devised

    It all boils down to energy management and NOT time management. Most of us have lots of time left over in the day, but we run out of energy far faster. Energy management includes eating the right food, spending time meditating, Working out, and removing distractions. Once you have surplus energy, create the priorities you need to focus on so that you do not feel overwhelmed. Most importantly do things you love doing and you will never feel like it is work. Have fun and enjoy your work and life, it’s a great habit!

    On habits that are important for personal development and well-being

    Habits are the foundation of our lives. I like to define habits as “Any conscious or sub-conscious, action or thought that is repeated at a set frequency is a habit. We are used to thinking of habits as brushing teeth or tying shoe laces, these are actions. But our thoughts are also habits! Imagine waking up every day and thinking life sucks. Day after day the same thought is going to ensure that your life does suck. This is why habits are so crucial and most of our habits are not consciously created by us. We need to choose the habits we want carefully.
