    Indian pop sensation Zaeden announces India tour

    Mumbai: India’s thriving pop music artist Zaeden announces the start of his 2023 tour starting 6 October and will culminate on 3 December. This multi-city tour kickstarts with its first show in Mumbai at the Jio World Drive and will be brought to seven more cities including Kolkata, Delhi, Indore, Bhopal, Pune, Bengaluru and Nagpur. More cities are expected to be added as part of the tour in the coming weeks.

Almost a decade later when Hae Sung comes looking for Nora, they both confront destiny, love and the choices they made.     Talking about the shooting for the film, Song said, “Until that scene where Hae Sung [Teo Yoo] and Arthur [John Magaro] meet each other for the first time, I made sure that the actors never actually met. Credit to my crew for making sure that they never ran into each other, which was a little extra logistical thing, but I really believed in it.”

    Along with this, while opening up about her character Nora, actor Greta Lee added, “She is so certain about what she wants. We see love stories, romantic dramas where the woman at the center is lost in her desires, and channels life solutions and projects them on different men. This is not that.”

The eight-episode web series, starring Pakistani superstars Sajal Aly and Wahaj Ali, marks Applause Entertainment and Zindagi’s second project together. The content studios together promise to be a remarkable addition to the world of entertainment as the drama gears up for its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival 2023 Sydney (SXSW) at Palace Central Cinema on 16th October. Moreover, The Pink Shirt is the only South Asian web series selected at the SXSW, Sydney this year.

    Following the announcement of Farar’s world premiere at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival earlier this month, The Pink Shirt adds a new feather to Zindagi and Applause Entertainment’s hat of achievements. To witness this global recognition at one of the largest annual festivals celebrating conglomeration of parallel cinema, interactive media, music, and much more; Pakistani superstars and lead actor Sajal Aly along with director Kashif Nisar, writer Bee Gul, and producer Shailja Kejriwal will be attending the grand festival in Australia.

    The Pink Shirt is a riveting take on modern-day relationships, their love, challenges, and struggles in a raw & real way.     Sony LIV to adapt yes Studios’ gripping crime drama Magpie

    Mumbai: Magpie, whose second season has just run on yes TV to rave reviews, was produced by yes TV and Donna & Shula Productions (Tehran). It tells the story of Asa Katz, a man serving 17 years in prison for murder who gets released early on the condition that he cooperates with the police as their informant – a role (known as a magpie) that he also had in jail. Asa returns to his old neighbourhood and his older brother, David, who has little regard for his younger sibling. Asa constantly tries to resolve this, but numerous conflicting interests put him in precarious situations, and he finds himself torn between his life of crime and his work with the police, while skilfully navigating both worlds to his advantage.

    Mumbai: Amazon miniTV – Amazon’s free video streaming service recently premiered the teen drama ‘Campus Beats’.  The dance drama captures the joys, struggles, and passion, friendship, love, and immense competition among the student factions. The fascinating series follows a group of students from a dance academy, Mumbai University of Movement and Dance, also known as the University of M.A.D. The show features Shantanu Maheshwari, Shruti Sinha, Sahaj Chahal, Tanvi Gadkari, Harsh Dingwanii, Tanya Bhushan, Dhanshree Yadav, Teriya Magar, Adnan Khan, and Rohan Pal in pivotal roles.

    Shruti Sinha essays the role of Netra, who is bold yet has a mystery surrounding her, which she conceals from her batchmates. She gets admitted to the dance academy through a welfare program and is labelled as the ‘Backgrounder a.k.a. BG’. Netra secretly keeps on giving inspector Shinde information, but when she learns about the system’s conflict surrounding quotas versus non-quota matters, she decides to confront it and fight back.

    Talking about her first reaction after grasping the role of Netra for Campus Beats, Shruti shared, “Honestly, when I got the call, I double-checked, asking, “Are you sure this is happening?” because the audition process took a month and I wasn’t sure whether I was going to get the part. I was so excited that I ran over to my mom and we had a great time celebrating.”

    Talking about her character Netra, she added, “What I admire about Netra is that she is the polar opposite of who I am in real life. She is very gutsy, I am also gutsy but not like her. One thing I adore about Netra is that she will go to any length for the people she loves, which I think I relate to greatly. Netra cannot stand injustice, and she is also unafraid of the consequences.”
