Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Shri M. H. Ambareesh today called on the I&B Minister, Shri P. R. Dasmunsi and they held a one-on-one meeting. Shri Dasmunsi introduced the new Minister with senior officers of the Ministry.
He was apprised of the various activities/functions of the Ministry and its Departments. Shri Dasmunsi in his remarks said that the team in I&B Ministry has been further strengthened and the joint efforts of all members would take the Ministry to further levels of success.
Speaking at the meeting, Shri Ambareesh said that communication should be people friendly – delivery mechanism wise as well as content wise. Only then can it reach out to the public at large and empower them through better awareness of Government policies and programmes, he added.
