- Your mantra for life
For me my mantra of life is staying positive. As it allows me to approach challenges and obstacles with an optimistic attitude, and to see the good in even the toughest of situations. Additionally, I think positivity is contagious, and it can inspire those around me to be more optimistic and hopeful as well.
- A book you are currently reading / plan to read
Rasul Mir (The romantic Poet of Kashmir) is a book I am currently reading. I am mesmerized and blown away by the depth he has shown in his poetries.
- Your fitness mantra, especially during the pandemic
I am happy to say that I have consistently worked out at home at least four times a week, even during the pandemic. This was not an easy feat, as many people struggled to stay motivated and active while confined to their homes. By committing to exercise, I was able to reduce stress and anxiety, boost my mood, and improve my overall physical fitness.
- Your comfort food
Khichdi and poha are my go-to comfort foods at home because I travel a lot.
- When the chips are down a quote/ philosophy that keeps you going
The one philosophy that helps me to keep going in my hard times or when I feel low is – No matter how tough a situation we are in, I believe every situation teach us something new, opens new opportunity and door for us, We just have to be positive enough to identify what new life is bringing to us and we have to keep walking toward the new light of life.
- Your guilty pleasure
My guilty pleasure is eating chocolate pastries and ice creams when I get a chance.
- When was the last time you tried something new?
The last time I tried something new was last year in September I went for scuba diving, and I dove 110Ft below the sea level. I like scuba diving very much and have dived several times, but this was the first time that I dove this deep.
- A life lesson you learnt the hard way?
As a first-generation entrepreneur I do face lots of challenges but what I learnt is, not to keep any expectation from anyone. This is my life and my decision, and I only have to figure it out.
- What gets you excited about life?
About life what excite me the most is travelling and exploring new things, new culture and of course like I mentioned before scuba diving.
- What’s on top of your bucket list?
There are two things that are on top of my bucket list. First is to do sky diving and second is to trek to the Himalayan base camp.
- If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?
I think that I am not sure what advice I can give to by younger self as I have enjoyed all stages of my life.
- One thing you would most like to change about the world
Negativity which is spread by a certain segment of society and the judgemental attitude of people towards others are the things I would like to change.
- An activity that keeps you motivated/charged during tough times
Travelling and interacting with strangers, exploring new countries and new cultures keeps me motivated and charged. As they help me to understand that there are things in this world that I don’t know and excite me to learn about them.
- What lifts your spirits when life gets you down?
Reading about other people’s journeys and getting inspiration from their walks of life. I learn from their life and see how they overcome certain challenges in life. This gives me motivation and makes me feel that I am not alone in this situation and that people may have seen worst. This makes me thankful to my life and motivated to overcome any situation.
- Your go-to stress buster
I love to spend time with friends and family, and they are my go-to stress buster.
