Mumbai: Tiki, a short video community, has announced the third edition of the Tiki Star Awards to recognize the stakeholders of the Indian creator community. Through this initiative, the brand aims to celebrate and reward the top-performing creators across the country who showcase their talent through the Tiki app. To celebrate the spirit of women empowerment, two special awards were dedicated to the top-performing women creators to mark International Women’s Day.
Following the success of the first and second editions of the Tiki Star Awards, the theme of the third edition was PK – a live feature on Tiki App where two hosts can compete. Complementing the PK theme was the dress code where all the creators were dressed in red or blue color. The Tiki Star Awards were held in New Delhi to felicitate exceptional creators who showcased their talent through one of the fastest-growing apps, Tiki. With over 100 million users, Tiki aims to provide a platform for users from various walks of life and regions to make a living with their passion.
Speaking more on occasion, Tiki CEO & co-founder said, “Our aim through these awards is to celebrate the creators pan-India who are shining on the platform. Keeping in mind the varied genres of the platform, Tiki divided the award into 15 categories to recognize the creators from every genre. The award categories included- Tiki Live Star, Tiki Live Popular Star, Tiki Live Rising Star, Tiki Framed Star, Best Personality, Super SVIP, PK Star, Best Family, Best Agency, Best Performance Family, Best Supportive Family, Best Influential Family, Special Contribution Award, Best Female Social Influencer, Most Popular Female Family Leader.
