Mumbai: Fab-India has announced the appointment of TATA group Rajeshwari Srinivasan as the CEO. Viney Singh, a long time board member and who steered the company for the last seven years as CEO will step down and handover the baton to the incumbent.
Srinivasan is an experienced leader with 25+ years’ experience with the TATA Group. She joined as a Tata Administrative Services (TAS) officer; worked with and led businesses & verticals for several TATA companies including Rallis India, Tata Tea (now Tata Consumer Products), Indian Hotels (Taj Hotels) & Titan Company Ltd. across diverse sectors and portfolios of FMCG & Lifestyle products & Services, Hospitality & Luxury goods. Her last role was as Chief Strategy Officer, Titan Company Ltd. since April 2021.
Fab-India was started in 1960 by John Bissell. The company operates 327 stores across 118 Indian cities and has 14 international locations.
Srinivasan holds a degree in Economics from Ethiraj College, Chennai, Masters Diploma in Business Administration from Madras Christian College and an MBA in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. She is also a coveted winner of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship from the UK.
