NEW DELHI: TV Today Network’s new English channel Headlines Today is all set to make its appearance on Monday, 7 April 2003.
Headlines Today, as described by TV Today news director Uday Shankar in a recent interview with indiantelevision.com, has been modeled to suit the tastes, aspirations and viewing habits of English-speaking viewers – all of which are different from that of a Hindi-speaking viewer who watches Aaj Tak.
Headlines Today will be a digital channel for which boxes would be needed for cable operators to access the signals for further re-distribution.
