MUMBAI: Samsung India Electronics Limited (SIEL) today announced the elevation of Ravinder Zutshi to the position of deputy managing director.
Prior to this, Zutshi was director (sales and marketing), Samsung India. In his new capacity, Zutshi will oversee the Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances and Information Technology business, along with the Corporate Functions of the Company.
Zutshi has successfully spearheaded Samsung India’s growth since its inception in December 1995. He has been instrumental in establishing Samsung’s vast sales and distribution network in the country and shaping the company’s marketing and communication strategies in the country.
Zutshi has over 30 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, and also holds the position of vice president (North), Consumer Electronics and TV Manufacturers Association (CETMA).
Talking about his plans for the company, Zutshi said, “My focus would be to make this organisation even more customer focused in terms of our products and services, so that we can establish Samsung as a technology leader in the country.”
